Here in 2021, after hearing the news of Kim Yeonkoung’s retirement after their loss to Serbia in the Tokyo Olympics. Although it must’ve been a disappointment to her, I’m sure all South Koreans and volleyballs enthusiasts world wide are so so proud of her and wish her all the success and happiness ❤️❤️❤️

Me too, but then she seemed to get kind of rude the more time they spent together. Sometimes people try to show off when they like someone or it could've been plain nerves but I was annoyed by how she was while they were eating/wrestling... I don't think badly of her (shes honestly adorable) but her attitude seemed demeaning at times and I can't stand when people are like that. Hopefully it'll get better the more I watch...

Re-watching after almost 5 years. Sad to say that she didn't get that medal in this past olympics and is officially retired now. Love her though .. best volleyball player ever. And I also love her appearances on various variety shows over the years. FIGHTING !!

I just wanted to say that at 4:35 I appreciate them not comparing Yeonkoung as being the Messi or Ronaldo of volleyball but saying that she is her own person, and deserves praise and respect in her own regard for her own accomplishments. It's probably not that deep but for some reason for me it was really great and important they said that. She's faced a lot of challenges and achieved so much, she doesn't need to be compared to someone else to show how well she's done. Not only is she a great sportswoman, but she's funny and has a great easy going personality - Kim Yeonkoung you have a new fan!

She saw Jessi used her body and was quite strong with the other girl, so she used her arm length (which is normally a disadvantage) to put Jessi in a bad position. Anyway, she and Jessi are VERY, VERY similar. You can see her behavior afterwards is just like Jessi with Tzuyu.

I think Jessi is calm, because Kim Yeonkoung is the National treasure for Koreans and she was told to behave to prevent the hateful comments from public. From Jessi's body language it's seemed she want to distance herself from Kim. She was told to do that or she was extremly uncomfortable with her presence
