why can't people see that the reason somi cried is not because she couldn't take the critics, she cried because she had practiced hard, she and the vocal coach know that she had improved but she couldn't show it in this important time. she probably felt really disappointed with herself. i'm sure some, probably most of us has ever felt this way, work hard but couldn't show the result of it when it matter the most.

i am in love with jinkyung..shes super busy.. as a wife, a mom, as a ceo, a cancer survivor n work her butt off for things that she need to do.. she might not be the best..but she really moves everyone heart when it comes to determination and her food n beverage business.

SOME People think Somi is a crybaby She is just letting all her stress out Image your 15/16/17 (Around those ages) having school, training to become an idol. Going on shows (Sixteen and Produce 101) Later being in I.O.I now on this show. Also she was bullied for being mixed like BRO SO MUCH STRESS. We will create more stress if people keep calling her crybaby and stuff.

Somi works harder than most of you ever did at her age. She has more burdens and is stressed more than most of us would be in a lifetime. Let her enjoy this opportunity without extra outside criticism. Just watch her growth and be happy that she continues to work hard and improve.

Poor Somi... This girl has been through a lot, experiencing criticism, hate, and all those antics that trainees undergo. I'm proud of her for surviving, standing on her feet, and refusing to bow down to failure. She is a breathing miracle. One that draws a breath of determination.

reasons why she cried 1. got eliminated in the final round in sixteen and how it affects her in achieving her dream continuously in ioi 2. she was touched bc the vocal trainer can feel the way she feels about her own vocal (very disparate from stereotypically "good" singers) 3. even though she has school and has other stuff to work on, she still takes a lot of time of her sleep to practice and prepare for this show; yet her effort doesn't pay off because her condition on the day wasn't that good.

Stop hating on Somi guys. I can tell you with confidence that I am 3 months older than her and I don't have anything to worry bout other than my exams in may and June. The pressure is really hard on her and it really shouldn't be at our age. I bet she feels like she's not free to live her own life sometimes😭😭 I can't imagine living her life

The vocal trainer never ceases to amaze me, he supports the girls so lovingly and he tries his best to help them. He notices the problems and works around them, and for Somi, I hate it when people consistently say she isn’t good enough. Somi won produce for a reason, she just needs more confidence. FIGHTING EVERYONE! We’re cheering^^ (sigh I cried hearing Somi cry)

I really hope Jinyoung will get the rap part. She seems like she wants it so bad!!

I actually like that Somi cries. On tv it always seems as though when someone gets famous they don't show as much emotion anymore. People always say to 'learn to take criticism' but that's doesn't mean they can't react to it. Being an idol doesn't mean you get to not show anymore emotion. Eventually when they stop showing emotions it seems as though they've not gotten stronger but have learned to hide it. They don't seem as human anymore, but everyone is human. So I say cry all you want Somi before people take that away from you, which is what they seem to be doing every time she cries.

I really don't think Somi is a crybaby. I'm the same way, and I would probably do the same in the same situation, especialy at 16/17 (I'm a couple years older than her). I don't think she's crying because she got corrected, I think she's crying because she's frustrated and upset and embarrassed that she didn't do as well as she'd hoped/didn't do what she worked on with the trainer. Once in high school, when I was practicing a cello solo with the piano accompanist, I was so nervous I kept messing up a part I knew I'd had down while practicing on my own. The accompanist kindly corrected me, but I was so embarrassed and frustrated with myself that I ended up crying. Somi works so hard and probably has really high expectations for herself, so she's frustrated with herself when she doesn't show results.

i think many of us forgot sometimes, that Somi is still so young, because she is more adult than her age sometimes. so people have this higher expecation from her to act like adult. but i really want to say, Somi is still so young, its okay to be like her age with up and down emotions, crying, etc. especially when she has been trough 2 survival show, sudden debut, then experiencing a disbandment, now starting another project. its a lot going on here. we're rooting on you Som Somi.

I loved Minzy and Jinyoung's versions, honestly. I honestly hope they give Jinyoung a chance with the rap, she seems to genuinely want it. I mean she even met up with Kisum for help. And I couldn't stop laughing when it was a Jinkyung's turn! I would be the same, a wreck.

This episode was great! These ladies are so easy to watch and incredibly likable. I felt bad for the vocal coach when he was being pressured to dance, but I love the ladies' energy even more! Hong Jinyoung just made me a permanent fan of hers today. She is so lovable.

I'm so proud of Jinkyung! Like she did in the first season, she might not be the best when it comes to singing and dancing but she sure works her ass off! I almost shed a tear when the vocal teacher complimented her for the first time. Keep on the hardwork! International fan here rooting for you!

I want them to understand that somi isn't a soprano, shes between an alto 1 and soprano 2, so like alto 1.5 lol. i wish they would give her a range she can sing. high tone doesn't necessarily mean someone can sing high. she could have a sweet alto 1 voice.

Chaeyoung - first of all her son was so cute with her in the car and she did good she must have worked hard I think her English parts sounded good. jinyoung - her song Ver was pretty and as bubbly as she is I liked her rap also it was so jinyoung fighting on being able to rap minzy - this song is so different from anything 2ne1 did even though it was easy for others to watch her and say for minzy it's no problem she must have worked hard to get this song right and change her usual Yg singing style Somi - has a fear of higher notes and is afraid to belt her voice fully out because it's unique and stands out something she's been holding back because it's uniqueness has been pointed out to her but now the teacher wants her he let it go it must be hard to change it quickly but surely she'll overcome it she's strong for her age and very driven sook -sounds amazingly good for a person that isn't a singer by job I'm not a singer I think I'm really bad lol but I think she could be really good sub vocal if she keeps getting lessons in vocals yewon- is overcoming her vocal cord problems with this show, I'm happy for her she must have missed singing at least a bit and now she's getting better just needs more time to get herself comfortable again with singing without looking as if she's worried about making mistakes jinkyung- I love her will power she's not a strong singer but always shows her very best and improves even by a small amount honestly her dancing has gotten so much better of course (lol why did I type sure a long thing I can't wait for the end results of all their hard work I hope that this show is getting good reviews in Korea though because I'd want another season with the S2 cast)

I miss this show. I just want to say that I've watched this show a million times when I was having a depression in 2018. It gave me short term happiness and inspiration to keep living. I can't tell you exactly how impactful this show was to me. I was very thankful to God. I hope that it comes back! This season particularly was so meaningful to me. Now Im watching this with a stronger heart and will ❤

will say this. Somi is very young and is under a lot of pressure at her age. However, being in the industry she's in, she's going to have to toughen up a bit to protect herself and not take every constructive criticism to heart. There are many of idols before her, her age and younger, that went the exact same things (worse in smaller companies) especially for those who attended non-art schools where expectations are even higher academically. For Somi fans to say she's had a harder life than most her age simply because she chose to be an idol is just not factual and is getting her more undeserved criticism. I'm rooting for her and I think that she's a talented child, so I'm sympathetic to her for working this hard. I hope that she continues to improve her singing to prove people who needlessly hate her wrong and make JYP eat his decision so he'll finally debut her :)!

Yewon is the cutiest person ever. 💜💜 I will say i believe she is the most hard working one there. I know they all work hard but tbh mitzy and somi are used to these things. alot of the work comes not so difficult compared to the rest. Yewon wants to do her best she wants to get better that what I love about her she never gives up and practices like crazy even with her nodes. Im very proud to call myself a fan of her's.

I'm really glad I.O.I started and temporarily stopped/disbanded. Because if Somi hadn't experienced debuting, she would have overworked herself at such young age in order to be in a girl group and at the same time. I feel so bad for her even if that is her dream. I don't want anyone her age to experience the cruel and harsh world. I want her to enjoy her youth. She's so young. :(
