I have never felt guilt about it. I also don't feel responsible for people who have gambling addictions or who have any of the hundreds of other types of addictions that exist.

@@realiteasquadSarah, Hi my daughter has severe scoliosis and her back is nearly identical to Ysabelle's(prior to surgery). I always feel the need to stress only a few children's hospitals preform the Tether surgery that Ysabelle had and under strict guidelines for it to be covered by the hospital. Insurance does NOT cover Tether surgery despite it being less invasive and a quarter of the recovery period. Many scoliosis sites/groups have a step-by-step program to fundraising the $150k needed to get the Tether over a spinal fusion surgery. Insurance will cover some of the recovery costs but absolutely not the procedure itself. If you have any questions please let me know and I will gladly go into detail and hopefully clear up some misconceptions about Ysabelle's surgery.

Professional artist and art professor here! Some people are suggesting that Kody and Robyn are investing in art as one might invest in the stock market. While art investing does exist, if this is Kody and Robyn’s intention, it’s ill-advised. The art they are collecting is not part of critical discourse, will not be shown in contemporary museums, and will only gain value among the limited clientele who buy this type of art. They might get lucky and resell it to someone else who thinks they can resell it in the future, but there is no reliable or noteworthy investment here. It’s the equivalent of buying Beanie Babies thinking you’re going to get rich someday. Edit: If you happen to like this art, this is not shade on your taste. You can love or hate whatever art you want. If you’re buying art for the sole purpose of making money, I think you’ll be incredibly disappointed. Even buying art made by well established/famous artists is not guaranteed a financial return.

He started to attack their doctor's credibility, calling him a quack on national tv...I thought at the time he could've gotten sued for defamation for that. It was ugly, just him and Christine in the kitchen and him refusing to get help for his child. That's when I knew he'd lost his mind.

This is sad to see broken down and validates EVERYTHING we all know to be true. For Robyn to just "not understand" or be so confused about why resentment built while she pissed the families assets away (that she contributed to minimally) while Janelle was basically homeless, Christine was fundraising for her children's medical bills and Meri was left to rot by herself regardless of how much she brought into the family, explains it all. It is a clear example of willful ignorance and benefiting from the fruits of the labor of the OG3 while everyone else was struggling. Not to.mention it is tacky as hell. Money absolutely doesn't buy good taste as evidenced by this. Knowing there is likely tons more that was removed prior to the listing just shows the amount of money laundering that has actually taken place.

And then the family paid off $35,000 worth of debt and then after Dayton‘s accident they paid off another 30,000 so David wouldn’t sue Cody for Dayton‘s injuries and neglect and not supervising him properly. Janelle paid for her trailer HERSELF. What do you want to bet Dayton's trailer was paid for out of the 'FAMILY money'? Christine paid for Truely's hospital stay. One of her girls had breast reduction surgery and Christine paid. Then Ysabelle had the scoliosis surgery and (again) Christine paid. Kody DID at least go see Truely in the hospital a few times. (Since he caused it, I guess that was fair.) Robyn did NOT get a job and pay for Dayton's facial surgery. The FAMILY money paid for that. Also the FAMILY money paid for the nanny.

I totally agree! I remember hating her the second she was introduced. Not only does she have RBF, but her vibes were screaming manipulator and money hungry! Christine knew it too! Christine could spot her a mile away- and everything she feared would happen, came true 😞 Thankfully she is happy now! I’ve never held such a level of irrational hate for two people that I don’t personally know &/or that don’t affect me in real life, but with K&R it’s unavoidable! 😡

When it comes to art & investing in art, if you don’t really really know what you’re doing, then you are probably going to be very disappointed when it comes time for you to ‘cash in’ on your ‘investment.’ I can tell you categorically, based on my educational background in art history, that Kooter & Sobyn will be LUCKY if they can recover their initial costs for the vast majority of that drek they surrounded themselves with. And if they weren’t acquiring this garbage as an ‘investment’ but instead as an aesthetic expression, then they make the Clampetts look like the Guggenheims. It is OBSCENE to me that instead of helping his daughter with financing a much needed surgery, he bought that crap for Sobyn. Honestly, if they both wind up in a gutter somewhere, panhandling, it would be justice. They are revolting.

No, it was the sale of Meri and Janelle's home that went towards Robin's down payment, plus a Janelle used her 401k from her job to pay off Robin's 30,000 debt that she brought into the marriage. Janelle and Meri gave and gave and got nothing. No one was there to help Meri when she wanted to buy the inn. She had to buy it herself. No one was there to help Janelle buy a house. She finally had to buy her own property in South Carolina. These women overcame and beat the odds, in spite of Kody and Robin screwing them over and the only ones suffering are Kody and Robin. That's Karma!

This is why I can't keep watching. ALL of the adults profited off of the kids' weddings, Truley's neglect, Ysabel's surgery and now, possibly most heartbreakingly, they will all profit from Garrison's passing. If the parents want to make fools of themselves on TLC, fine, but the kids never had a say, and they were NEVER fairly compensated. Kody and Robyn may be the worst of the bunch, but all of the parents are sick for profiting off of their children's suffering.

When Robyn says "we worked together" and "took care of the kids", what she meant was, "Kody & I stole money from the other 13 children and OG3 to take care of "OUR kids -- 3 Jessops and 2 Browns."

I had to login online after watching this episode. My absolute favorite episode because you brought the HARD RECEIPTS of what we’ve all known. You put it all together and indicting Kody and Robyn with their own words. My goodness, these are ONLY the items they LEFT to show the house. Can you imagine what else they squirreled away thinking they were in the clear. James from My Take on Reality just did an episode explaining how money laundering works with the examples of purchasing art, jewelry, cars etc). Businesses don’t have to report purchases less than $10k. Everything is clear as ever now. Look at all the purchases SHOWN just under that threshold. They are caught!! No wonder they didn’t want filming in their house. They will reap what they’ve sown. So heartbreaking for 13 innocent kids and Janelle, Christine and Meri. There is unbelievable financial infidelity, especially when Janelle did not own a home. Outrageous!!

I had scoliosis surgery when I was 11 yrs old. Kody not going to the surgery is unforgivable. Scoliosis pain doesn’t go away the pain just changes. Kody said he doesn’t fear anything but poverty, if he keeps spending like this he’ll be in poverty soon. TLC money isn’t guaranteed, shows get canceled.

Christine couldn’t qualify because she had two mortgages. He helped until the LV house sold. Then Kody was off the mortgage and they got money back. But you didn’t hear Kotex say that he and Robyn got money from Meri and Janelle for the McMansion

So it really looks like they've been 'hiding' money by buying art, jewelry and sculptures thinking that all art appreciates. REALITY CHECK: not all art does. Very few actually are worth more after you purchase it. These things are NOT what I'd consider fine art--they look like mass produced prints --like Amanda said: cruise ship art. Sad attempt to salt money away without the others wives twigging to it, cuz to be honest, they look cheap.
