Nothing shows true love like a husband that will watch Sister Wives and 90 Day Fiancé with their wife. Kody could learn a lot from this selfless act.

When Christine said she chuckled about the Nanny having covid, I felt vindicated because I also chuckled. lol

Watching Kody speaking to Ari during the party and seeing Truley sitting in the background watching was so heartbreaking 💔

Withholding Intimacy as punishment is abuse. The name calling & disparaging remarks, is abuse. The clear favouritism of one wife, and obvious disapproval of another is abuse. Kody is an ABUSIVE POS and I'm so glad Christine found the strength to boot his balding, bad permed ass out! As much as Christine leaving finally gives manipulative, 'Sobbin Robyn' the 'prize' she's wanted ever since she entered the family, we can all see Kody is no prize. Bring on the reunion, where we'll undoubtedly get to see Kody & Robyn gaslight Christine, just to try & save face with viewers.

You are so right.... Why did tlc cover 20 minutes of Cody and Robin's family in the car testing... That was so gross. In the meantime... Christine is leaving Cody and that gets 1 minute. Geez!!!!

Did anyone else notice that Kody and Robin told the lab tech that they had never taken a covid test? And then they cut to the rest of the family has tested several times. Double standard??

One thing I noticed - While in the car getting Covid tested. Kody said that the Covid testing was their first test. Apparently everyone else but them had to test before Christmas and the birthday party. Insane!!!

Kody did treat Meri badly before the catfishing incident. Robyn offered to be a surrogate for Meri but when Meri and Kody talked about it he said no that he would be having more children but not Meri. This is just one incident that comes to mind. When Mariah was so bent out of shape at her mother Meri was explaining that she was so lonely. So, yes the emotionally abusive Kody has a game plan to break his unwanted wives before he discards them.

Robin’s crying can be easily summed up. 1) The unpopular wives are taking the brunt of Kody’s abuse. Robyn was ok with that and was willing to feed it because it secured her place and sense of security in the tribe. Now that the unpopular wives are leaving, the target is going to be exclusively on her. Having pulled the strings and stirred pots, she knows what Kody is capable of doing to a wife. She knows what is coming. 2) She and her worthless husband are total deadbeats who are being supported by Meri, Christine and Janelle. And one of their meal tickets just took the stagecoach out of Dodge. If the other two do it, they are so screwed!

Also, love that Christine insinuates "I'm not going to be like Meri and stay in a loveless, non intimate marriage " Kody "heard" from others Christine wanted out??? How about ask Christine??

Being a parent is a lifetime commitment. You don't discard your kids upon their 18th birthday. Yes, the relationship changes and transforms to an adult child to parent relationship, but the transition occurs over the course of their upbringing. The problem is, Kody doesn't partake in the "upbringing" of kids that aren't Robyn's.

Christine matured and knew that the unknown was better than the known. Christine is showing her family self worth by example. Kody only confirms what we all thought. May all women recognize his type, trust their instincts, grow strong and rely on themselves. Awesome recap.

Christine bedroom/office was in the loft. Kody had been using not having a door as an excuse to not have seggs. When Christine was following all of kody’s rules he came over to put up the door to protect her inventory from the cat not to have seggs with her. So he was admitting the covid and the door was an excuse and he didn’t want a relationship with her anymore.

Robyn only wants Meri around for that cash. And John's comment about Kody's five head was hilarious.

“What’s anybody getting out of this?” An excellent question. Everyone just seems miserable and burdened imo.

My husband brought up a great point when we were discussing this. He feels like Kody is purposefully manipulating the wives, treating them so horrible so that *they* will leave and he won’t get the blame. He gets the sob sorry of how his wives left him while he was doing everything he could to keep the family together blah blah blah. And then in the “eyes of God” he can be blameless since he wasn’t the one “to destroy the eternal family.” This was his plan all along.

Her niece was the nanny when they were in Vegas. She didn’t move with them to Flagstaff. I want them to do a new season but I only care about Christine and her girls, Janelle and her kids, and Meri sometimes!

There’s no doubt that Janelle is next up to be shunned. Maybe she doesn’t care if Kody wants to be intimate with her but I bet smoke comes out of her ears when she watches the show where Kody talked trash to Gabe about her

I agreed with Janelle. It’s almost like Kody has flipped the script on the older kids. Supposedly Flagstaff was to have the ultimate homebase for everyone and now it’s like screw them

Yes! Please do a recap on the reunion! I love both of your takes on the situation. It's maddening but a lot of fun to watch Kody's delusional ramblings as if we didn't see things they showed us ourselves. He's such a wimpy narcissist that can't even financially support one family much less be an emotional support for his other children or wives. That's a bankrupt soul right there.

I think Kody favors Robyn’s youngest 2 kids because they are hers and his and also because they are the age where they think he is everything. They believe everything he says and obey him. The older kids have their own thoughts and beliefs separate from him now. At first Kody was shocked when Christine boxed up his stuff and said “we never discussed this”. When you tell your wife your not attracted to her and don’t want sex do not be surprised when she boxes up your 💩 and leaves it outside. He actually thought she would sit on the No sex sidelines with Meri. Then to save face he said he was relieved by it. He said more awful things about her. His children will watch this and see how he talks about their mother. He considers no one’s feelings but his own. I noticed that because Ari wanted a party Robyn said it was safe to be together. Then after her nanny “conveniently” got covid so she could say it’s no longer safe. And I loved when Janelle and Christine basically said that Robyn having the covid nanny was karma. I hope Christine finds a good man who will love and adore her the way she deserves. And…if his marriages and lifestyle are religion based what happened to that? They used to get together and pray and hold family service together. Obviously they don’t do that anymore. I really hope the interviewer tears into him next week!!! You are a no good, low-down, dirty dog!

Kody basically said his love for his kids was conditional. My jaw was on the floor at that. And I agree-seeing him interact with Ari v. any other non Robyn kid was in such mean spirit I lost every last shred of respect for him. I’ve always thought he’s awful to his wives but at least he loves (or as we’ve seen-loved) his children. The fact that Christine said her girls can’t respect their father bc they see his favorites is disgusting. I hope Kody regrets and tries to right these wrongs for the rest of his life bc when he’s on his death bed he’s going to suffer for the way he treated his children in this phase of his life.

The end for me would be my husband saying he wasn't attracted to me. After that, every touch or intimate moment would just be uncomfortable and heart breaking. I personally think when you truly love someone you see who they are inside (soul, heart mind) so the physical body doesn't matter anymore. My parents are in their 70's, grey, old, wrinkly but my dad is always grabbing my my moms ass and she is always kissing on him. It's gross but hell good for them. They definitely don't look 20 anymore but neither one gives a damn.

Robyn made a point of referring to her nanny as her kid’s nanny and tutor, making her more legit. Did the other wives have tutors for their kids? And another thing. I remember many seasons ago that Christine said she always wanted to be the third wife. First wife was #1, second wife had to deal with the first wife, and she could be the fun wife. Then Robyn showed up. And a final thing, thank you Nikki and John. Y’all are a lot more fun than a Sister Wives show.

Funny that everyone else but Robyn and her kids and Kody didn’t have to test before the get together even though they had a nanny coming into their house, but all the wives and their kids who came to the party had to test negative.

Robyn should feel guilty for exposing the family to Covid. Kody and Robyn’s family is the only family who didn’t take Covid tests before the birthday party. Rules for thee but not for me! I can’t stand Kody and Robyn!

The intimacy question with the door was because Christine’s bedroom is also up in the loft.

Kody actually told Meri that he was no longer attracted to her and no longer wanted an intimate relationship with her. He felt betrayed by her inability to have more children. This happened during the first season, when the family decided to relocate to Las Vegas (cul-de-sac). Then Kody used the same blue print with Janelle, saying she was overweight and lost attraction, but valued their friendship. Hence, their platonic relationship. So, since the emotional blackmail was successful with Meri and Janelle, Kody strikes again for the third time ‼️🤪 Noticed Kody has not procreated with any of his "wives" since Robyn's arrival.🤣

The way that Kody said “sweet” about Ari creeped the heck out of me. Also, can I just say that I have been waiting for this recap since I finished watching the episode. John delivered within the first three minutes.

He was doing to Meri what he’s doing to Christine. She said it was so uncomfortable having him in bed with her and he would not touch her. He wouldn’t even put his arm around her. That’s why she asked him to stay away fir a while.

There's something I found suspect that I haven't seen anyone talk about yet. When getting the covid test the administrator asks Kody and Robyn if they had taken the test before and they all said no. So then was it everyone else who had to test before going to their house for Christmas? Did they not test like everyone else?

My heart broke for Christine ,so glad she has known her worth and left and not like Mary waiting like a dog for scraps ,hopefully jannel will leave the idiot next ,let’s see the idiot and sobbing robin cope without the other wife’s money ,love your re caps x

When he said "I have to look out for the underage kids, and then the ones who follow the rules first" I was soooo pissed! Oh I see. The underage kids who live at Robyn's are more important then the underage kids who live with Christine & Janelle. Got it. I see your priorities Kody, number ones are those who follow king kody.

This episode was just awful to watch. I can’t imagine the Emotional abuse and manipulation we don’t see. When he kept saying he was thrown out of his house I laughed because Christine bought that house on her own. That’s her house and darn right you’re thrown out. 😡 this show is infuriating. I can’t even put into words my feelings about Robyn and the Nanny!

When Kody bad-mouthed Janelle to her sons, the same sons Kody said she should kick out of her/their home, that would have been the last straw for me. Kody was trying to pit Janelle against her children, and pit her sons against their Mom. Calling Janelle a "Teflon queen" was awful, mean and cruel.

The end for Christine in kody’s eyes was her saying no to the one house. From the very beginning his agenda was to have them move to Flagstaff just so he can get them in one house. She squashed that dream and he’s been annoyed with her ever since. He’s a jerk!

Remember when Kody said to Meri that he didn't wan't more kids with her. You could really tell that she was heartbroken. Then he just kept on running after Robyn and having more kids with her. I think Meri grew even more jealous and insecure. Maybe Kody didn't like how Meri was acting and told her that he didn't wan't to be intimt with her. That could be the reason why Meri was looking for attention else were???

Do u notice that whenever Coty is in a conversation and Coty doesn't like the subject he tries to get up and walk away,He told Christine we'll talk about it later he tried to walk away and Christine said no and continued what she had to say.Coty did the same when she asked Coty about " what does the Nanny do",and there again he walked away! He's an idiot! He said he never loved Mari!

Unless he marries again there is one season left. To see Robyn deal with a new wife would be great.

KODY= 17 year old drama queen....with holding sex until he gets what he wants..pfffff ROBIN = why ask, "what does the nanny do"? I feel bad for Christine's minor children. Truly mostly. The way Kody exalted Ariella made me kind of sick.🤢 With the praise. And other stuff . When the catfishing happened he defended Meri to Mariah and said that he didn't consider it to be cheating or an affair, but that Meri just had a friend and that friend betrayed her. We'll see how the Tell All goes but it looks like he's backpedaling on that and saying it was an affair. Once again, this man quantifies things as it suits him. Going back an episode...It's interesting to me that Robyn said they all needed to come home for Christmas, not travel elsewhere to be with any of the grown kids. These five adults all grew up in polygamy, yes? And have we seen them all going "home" to their families at the holidays? It's deluded to think you just stay put and expect everyone to come home. Even if Christine's marriage was great, why is it not ok for her to want to go to Aspyn's for Christmas?

I think with the door, she thought maybe he was installing the door so they could have privacy because their room has a loft style room i guess. So she was just clarifying that the door was really for the cats to stay out. Also kody used his “religion” just for a reason to have more wives and have his way. I would LOVE to see him add more wives. Younger, thinner, childbearing wives hahah Robyn would shit her pants

I agree with all your opinions here - The whole season was madness from Kody, and this episode was infuriating! He's going to play dumb like he doesn't have a clue why his shit is in the garage, I mean really? And he also failed to tell us in his statement before the season about the split to christine that it was actually him that told her he didnt want a real marriage anymore - Its absolutely right that he just thought Christine would follow Meri's deal and stay - He isn't used to any one going against him and being like well no thats not how its going to be and Christine finally did it and he doesn't seem to know how to handle that lol - its also very correct that had it been anyone else who got it it would have been ww3 but because its Robyn's nanny its like, "well shit happens" I guess those rules werent so fool proof after all - Its crazy to me how he doesn't feel like he has any obligation to older kids, I mean yes the situation changes but to flat out just be like well Im not obligated to protect them anymore WOW! Its assinine to think he could control adults like this and he's finding out that he cant and they wont let him and he's pushed alot of them away and they really just dont care - I also find it very hard to believe that Robyn's kids really did stay strictly out of the public for what a YEAR?! You all were talking about the door at Christines and I think her bedroom is up those stairs behind the door. Because she’s not got a 3 level house and she said her girls were downstairs when she was on her bed giving the confession video. Anyways, that’s what I think. Also, Kody is awful and I hope you and John keep doing recaps! You guys are my favorite.

Christine asked about the door because she has her bedroom and the office in the upstairs loft. The door would actually give them privacy when he stayed over if they wanted to be intimate. That's when, according to Christine, Kody told her he had no desire to be intimate with her anymore. So Kody installed the door just to keep the cat out of Christine's room.

I always thought Meri emotionally cheating and ending up catfished was clearly largely Kody’s fault. Her only child left the house for college and she became an empty nester, which is a huge life transition for any parent. But her husband was not an empty nester- he had a new wife and a new baby and lots of other kids, and he never did anything to even try to relate to Meri or where she was in life, or be there with her in that new phase at all. He basically told her, I don’t relate to your situation, so get over it yourself. She was sad and alone and did what sad and alone people do, she went looking for connection. I was married to a narcissist years ago, who had long since emotionally abandoned (and abused) me and I ended up falling in love with a male friend I made. I never pursued it, but I completely understand how when you are that lonely and someone gives you some positive attention, it can suddenly feel like sunshine and fresh air after living in a dark cave for years.

Also, he holds grudges so hard, in the first season he was so mad at Meri for asking how would he feel if she had multiple husbands. AND Christine was soooo jealous from the beginning of Robyn coming into the picture (justifiably) so he's likely just making lists of grievances. Now Janelle didn't kick out the boys and said f off. So she's about out.

FACTS about the Abuse it is real I went through it for real physically but, he does it is verbally, mentally, emotionally!

When Kody did that test and inhaled, I got so sick, I was dry heaving. My question is why does Robyn have a nanny, Robyn doesn't work and it looks like Kody doesn't work either, why do they need a nanny, the other wives didn't have nannies

What really upset me was he said Meri cheated he cheats all the time not anymore as much as he used to he has a lot nerve sleeping with other women isn’t cheating, very interesting! Maybe that’s why what he’s doing is illegal in America!

I think it after Kody told Meri that weren't going to try for more children that changed things. I was watching from the other side of the world and I could just feel some of that pain. To take some sort of hope must of done something to Meri.

One thing I find quite is that there has only been an imbalance in their relationship with Christine being the one to chase Kody and earn his love by being super agreeable, compliant, and selfless to the detriment of her own psyche and children. He has aid that he was not that attracted to Christine and was even horrified and grossed out that she ate a plate of nachos a little too much inhibition. She was the third wife and didn’t have to deal with that much jealousy but Robyn changed that. His obvious immediate infatuation with Robyn which led him to compromise his religious beliefs which included no kissing or touching before marriage. He blurted out proudly that picking her wedding dress was a joint venture knowing he never showed that much interest or enthusiasm leading up to their weddings. The fact he stopped by Robyn’s when Christine was in labor, and the fact she got an expensive HONEYMOON! These are not some petty instances that caused Christine to be jealous- they are acts of inequity, insensitivity, and hypocrisy which fosters insecurity and Kody does not have the emotional intelligence to understand that. I feel Robyn was complicit in this since she was very upset that he spilled the beans on the wedding dress because she knows that it would make HER look bad to these women she has to at least pretend to care about. Polygyny (one man with multiple wives) is not for the easily offended, but the way Kody is practicing it does not create functioning relationship or a cohesive family unit. He is not fair in the time and financially spending on his wives and families. He outwardly shows more love and attention to Robyn and their kids in public and private. Even if the wives suspect he loves one more than others, it should not be something obviously confirmed by his actions. Truth is this lifestyle’s success is based largely on the character and maturity of the man! If you think the only way to lead your family is by browbeating, complaining, and withholding love and affection, YOU ARE NOT LEADER MATERIAL! Not to mention he cannot afford the wives or children he has. I think it is very tacky to make the wives be the breadwinners because he can’t hack it as a salesman or whatever he was doing before. He refuses to have the patience to discuss difficult topics like the blatant inequity he displays with guilting them into not being a good sister wife. But Robyn can start to cry at the drop of a hat and everyone needs to back off lest you be labeled a bully. I can only imagine how frustrating that behavior has been for the over wives 10+ years. It seems to me that this manipulation tactic has worked well because she complains about being a scapegoat, yet doesn’t hesitate to throw the other wives over the bus or paint herself as a victim if you truly are one. Most people in that situation would shape up quick to not be the odd one out but Kody’s protectiveness of her against his other wives shows she is a position of privilege, not scarcity. I think the fact Kody does not work has made him even more of a jerk because where is he going to create self esteem and self worth from if he sits around all day long gossiping with Robyn about how much the other wives are obstinate and are destroying the family. It is an empty existence, and he has emptied whatever kindness, compassion, mercy, or appreciation he had for his other wives and children out of his heart to make the room for Robyn and their children, only. These are just my opinions based on observation and I don’t like being this judgmental. We will never know how successful this family would have been had Kody taken responsibility to show up the way only his first three wives have been required to do.

Leaving a relationship with a narcissist is like peeling back the layers of an onion. Little by little you realize all the different ways you were abused. More and more things start to unfold and you see clearer the many ways they manipulated and took advantage of you. So sad to watch the mid-aged kids realize that their dad is only devoted to small kids when they can give complete devotion to their narcissist father. Your re enactment of Robyn fawning over Meri, calling John “adorb” had me rolling 🤣 I’m with you though, remember when they had that 3 fire braai on the property? I found it super suspect Meri just happened to overhear Robyn “discreetly” telling Kody to make Meri smors . Meri's fawning reaction was so uncomfortable to watch, even more so when Meri said she heard Robyn tell Kody to. If Robyn genuinely wanted Meri to believe it was Kody's idea, or if Robyn only wanted to impress Cody with her sister wife-ness, Robyn would’ve played that move well out of earshot of Meri. It was too convenient Meri happened to overhear Robyn, unless Robyn’s whole point was to have Meri “catch” Robyn being supportive and sister-wifely, next level gaslighting vibes

Do you remember back when Meri wanted to do IVF? Kody shot her down and then he tells her she doesn’t deserve as big of a house as the other women because she only had one child. I think that was the beginning of their problems. Then when Robyn wanted to do a Sister’s Pantry the other wives didn’t want to. Meri started her own business and Cody was nagging her about not helping Robyn. Yet, Meri’s business did better.

She obviously didn’t have a door on the bedroom before, so it seems like maybe they already haven’t been intimate since she’s been in that house, and she was possibly hopeful that he wanted the door there so that they could resume the intimate area of their relationship……but he made it clear that that was NOT the case.

Yeah I bet it’s a homeschool teacher that they also employ to do household chores.. I know I couldn’t have helped high school kids with school during covid.. let me just I am a nanny… I take care of the kids clean up after them and am in charge of their laundry (wash dry iron and put away) I teach the preschooler and I help with homework after school with 3 bigger kids. I agree I don’t know why they need this service besides the tutor part

If I had to say what I had to say, it would take an hour to read. After watching last night we saw how a real man puts his feelings aside for the love of his family. Gabe's toast to Ariella was the sweetest thing ever. His dad was still mad at him "Garrison and Gabe ruined my holiday". Pompus man child! Christine, Janelle and Meri have children who are well rounded and loving, caring people. About Kody, I say go Christine! xoxo

There is no doubt in my mind that Kody cut off "intimacy" with Meri. She was obviously hurt for a while, after the catfish, almost begging for a closer relationship, which he said he couldn't give her, I think. Somehow she seemed to grow to accept that.

I love the woman's energy and love the husband's snarky comments.

I think most people have watched from the beginning hoping one day to see the women finally get fed up with it all and walk away. Also, I happen to have thought, that once Meri agreed to a divorce, that she began a "get out" plan. I think the B&B was her planning for the future she wanted and that's why the "family" didn't think it was a good idea. I would like nothing more than to see Kody and Robyn kicked to the curb, and a new show surrounding Meri, Christine, and Janelle's new life without Kody as they find new loves and success !!(oh, and how they go after Kody for child support haha, would serve him right)

He decided when Robyn came in the picture that it was all about her, "youngest" "hottest" "gives him full control" etc. I'm not surprised at all that they're at this point right now and I personally don't think Kody should have anymore kids, now knowing that being a good father to them is only if they obey him 🙄 Meri should leave, Janelle should leave, and cheers to Christine for leaving 🥂

Kody’s hysterical laughing in the testing line and interview was infuriating!!!! You know if it was someone outside of Robyns house he would have acted serious and scared! I don't think Kody was telling Christine he wanted a divorce when he told Christine he wasn't going to be intimate with her anymore until she could learn to be a good sister wife.
