I lost my mom 25 years ago, when she was only 50 years old and it still is the biggest pain. My dad died last december, your channel with the funny comments on the reality tv shows and anecdotes if your own life help me distract myself and smile. I'm so sorry for your loss.

One thing I noticed in this episode was that every kid got an interview (including Solomon, who didn’t say anything) except Dayton. Robyn talked over him talking about his difficulties communicating because of him being autistic, essentially downplaying his agency. As someone who is also autistic, I was annoyed by that.

Janelle is very intellectual and logical while also being very down-to-earth and even-keeled. Grief really affects you physically. I lost my husband, my mom and my best friend all within 18 months. From my grief experience, I would suggest really focusing on self-care, which we often neglect as working moms, and also watch your immune system. Big hugs. ❤❤

I love when you talk about things that happen in your life. I was like you, a later in life baby. It’s hard, no matter your age when you lose a parent. When both are gone, you. Will fill like you have been orphaned. I was nine months pregnant and 24 yo with my first child when I lost my dad. He was 83.

Terribly sorry about your mother, mine died earlier this year and I still probably haven’t grieved properly. Our relationship was tricky.. You and your husband are my top 3 favorite SW rewatches & content. I’m always happy to find a new post from you. Hilarious how Robyn’s experiences were so much the same as some of the others. Btw, from their book and different times during filming, I’ve probably heard 4-5 different and conflicting versions from Robyn (2-3x), Kody and Meri about when and how they met.

I also went to school in California and was tested for vision. I don’t know what the deal was with my older brother. They found out he needed glasses when he started driving. Our dad told him to turn right at X street. Brother didn’t know where to turn. He didn’t know there were street signs because he couldn’t see that far 🙄

My fifth grade figured I needed glasses & sent a note home to get my vision taken care of. I kept asking to move further to the front cause could not read the black board. She made me stand in front of the class pointing to things around the room & I could not see the words that's how bad my sight is. It was embarrassing but finally got glasses so I could see stuff. 😢
