It’s been a while - life is a journey and so are my Sisterlocks. Join me for the latest on what’s been happening with me and my locs ✌🏿 #sisterlocks #sisterlocksuk #locs #sisterlocksjourney #sisterlockedandlovingit
The thickness of your hair is beautiful! I really want to lock my daughter's hair at some point soon too. Well done on finding a new role in the midst of the pandemic! Happy belated birthday as well!
Angie's Loc Life thank you so much - very kind of you. I’ve just finished retightening my daughters Sisterlocks and she loves them! So easy and low maintenance. I hope your daughter loves them as much as mine does - definitely one of our better decisions ❤️
Nice update, your hair looks really good 🤩 I really enjoy your updates 😊 Regarding the bunching, I feel you. Hopefully you and your loctician are keeping an eye on it so I hope it’s gonna be okay. I’m still at the beginning of my journey but because of my soft hair texture, I feel like I’m going to have issues with it. I keep them braided all the time but I’m afraid it is not going to be enough 😔 There’s not much that I can do except maybe keeping them stretched ... Cheers and take care.
Samie thank you! Yes my loctician and I must keep on top, my hair is mainly braided and I’ve been told to stretch them which I do. My texture is the issue here, I can see why locs are the perfect choice for tighter coils, it just works so beautifully there. Thank you for watching.
I have my sisterlock installation soon. However I'm having serious second thoughts. I'm really scared of thinning because alot of women I've seen with long sisterlocks their scalps look like their hair is thining I'm think of going for bigger locks but hopefully I wont be charged sisterlocks prices
jimmy Davies it’s interesting because I’ve not seen anyone I know with sisterlocks experience thinning, I’ve seen more of that with the larger, thicker locs. But perhaps it does happen or hair just thins over time as we age? If you want larger locs, why not get interlocked microlocs rather than go for Sisterlocks and have the added expense? If I didn’t want the size and the grid I’d of just gone with larger interlocked microlocs as they look good to me too. Wishing you all the very best on your journey - would love to know what you decide and how it works out for you.
