Henna will turn the grays copper/red. If you add indigo, it will turn your grays black.

Hey just letting you know my experience with henna. I’ve been using henna to cover my greys since I was a loose natural. My hasn’t turned blue.

If you use indigo by itself on gray hair, it will stain blue. Your hair advisor doesn't know what she's talking about. You have to use henna first on gray hair to stain it red; then you use indigo to turn it black or dark brown. I have been doing it for years on my gray SLs and that's how I know she doesn't know what she's talking about. I learned the method for proper application from other women with SLs. Henna and indigo are NOT one in the same.
