Salam sisters! Please note there are different opinions on reciting/touching Quran during menses. In the video I mention not being able to read Quran to give options outside of reading Quran for those who choose not to 🌸 lots of love and duaas to all of you! 💗
Mashallah, i love your videos❤ In Turkey we do not recite Quran during our period. But we can make dua from Quran with the intention of not reading Quran but making dua. Also we can say a part of verse but not the whole verse during our period. I hope Allah accepts all of our worships and intentions :)
Salaam Sister Ghena. JAK for taking the time and effort for making all of your videos. They are extremely beneficial and helpful MashAllah. I also appreciate the professional quality and how visually appealing they are to watch. Could you please do a video on how to properly send Salawat on our Beloved Prophet SAW? Unless I am mistaken, I do not recall seeing such a video on your channel. Thank you so much and may Allah swt reward you generously. Ameen 💕
@@ThereIsNoGodExceptForAllahAssalamualaykum! The most common way to send salawat on Prophet Muhammad(saw) is to say “sallallahu alayhi wa sallam” when his name is mentioned. Another is to reas this dua “Allaahumma salli ‘ala Muhammad wa ‘ala aali Muhammad kama salayta ‘ala Ibraaheem wa ‘ala aali Ibraaheem, innaka hameedun majeed. Allaahumma baarik ‘ala Muhammad wa ‘ala aali Muhammad kama baarakta ‘ala Ibraaheem wa ‘ala aali Ibraaheem, innaka hameedun majeed” which sends prayers upon him and his family. You can also say this short salawat “Allaahumma salli wa sallim alaa nabiyyinaa muhammadin”. I hope this helps. Ramadan Mubarak🌙
1. Eat gratefully. 2. Commit to connecting with Allah 5 times a day, instead of praying (listen to Qur'an, make dhikr, dua, etc.) 3. Learn something new. 4. Prepare ifthar. 5. Doing your daily responsibilities for the sake of Allah (saying a nice word, helping someone, being their for your children, etc.) 6. Help someone else benefit from Ramadan. 7. Take a break - rest with the intention of being grateful to Allah.
I didn't find proof that we cant read or recite the Quran... I think stopping that is an error. Personally, except from prayer and mosque, I won't be stopping myself from anything else inchaAllah. And for those who don't want to touch the mushaf even through a barrier, Quran applications are an excellent option which, with no doubt, don't require wudhu. Let's not marginalize ourselves in our own religion and see periods like an injustice where they are not. God gives us solutions when we wanna take them alhamdulillah. Planning ahead what we will be doing those days is so important! Machallah your channel is like fresh air. Thank you for that work 🤗
I heard the same. I don't touch the mushaf or go to the mesjid but I hear Quran and learn the Ayat I choose to memorize. And I downloaded some hadith books like Sahih Bukhari and Muslim and Riyadhu Saliheen to read instead.
@@miradesnan38 same. I take advantage of that time to learn a new surah and also I'll keep reading Stories of the Prophets from Ibn Kathir and some of his tafseer as the video mentioned. Machallah we have lot of options, we shouldn't feel discouraged at all... Also personally I'll be still skipping breakfast and eating a suhur and iftaar with hobby while staying well hydrated during the day even if we have the right but just not to make it harder to fast afterwards and to keep a connexion with prayer times and Ramadan feelings as said in the video.
It's the last 10 day of Ramadan and a possibility of Laylatul Qadr in one of those. I think I am definitely gonna get my period any time soon and it's making me so sad :( I definitely feel robbed... but I remind myself everyday that Allah wanted it this way. I will try to make the best out of it. Your video is so helpful alhamdulillah! Thank you!
Jazakallah khair sister :) I was upset of my menses because I had it on the first day and to my calculations, the last 10 nights and laylatul qadr which are the best days. However after hearing this I felt much more better 😄
10:00 mashallah that’s such a nice idea! Inshallah I’m going to implement this regardless of Ramadan into my routine when I’m not allowed to perform the daily prayers❤️ Barakallahu feekee, I learn so much from this channel 💖 Ramadan Kareem everyone 🌙✨
MashaAllah your channel is very nice. I also don’t stop reading Quran while in menses but I read on my computer or on phone. Also I do lots of zikr & adhkaar. It is said that Shaytan is more closer to menstruating women because during those days we are in a state of impurity. So we should keep our tongue moist wit zikr & adhkaar more than our normal days. Allah knows best.
May Allah reward our abilities to quickly switch between these two opposite states impurity to purity and let it be an opportunity to rejeuvante our imaan.
Jazakallah Khair sister for uploading these videos. One of the most beloved deeds to Allah swt is putting a smile on someone. Sister your videos always puts a smile on our faces. 💓
Jazakallah Khair I was starting to feel bad because I was so excited and prepared then got my period right at the beginning. This helps give me some clarity on what I can do.
What a beautiful video 💕💕💕 may Allah bless you in abundance for sharing this Habibti 💕❤️ may Allah answer and multiply all your efforts in this holy month 💕💕💕💕
Assalamo alaikum wrwb sister. Hope you're doing well and may Allah SWT bless your Ramadan. You made a great point that we plan for Ramadan but forget to plan for the menstruation days. In sha Allah, next year I will plan for both. May Allah SWT accept all our ibadats and duas and grant us the blessing of seeing next Ramadan. Ameen. JazakAllahu Khair 💞💞💞
Alhamdulillah. Nice video.May Allah SWT bless you. I'm so grateful for being a Muslim. Islam is such a beautiful religion with inclusiveness, decipline, liniency and much more. Subhanallah
Assalamualaikum, sister I sincerely thank you for this. May Allah reward you with great things . I am now watching this and learn beneficial knowledge. Happy Ramadan to All Muslims🌼🌼🌼
Sister may Allah bless you with the best reward 💗 Your videos are sometimes such that I learn a lot every time I listen to them. especially for your voice, such a soothing...every point you discuss I felt them from my heart because sometimes may Islamic scholars, they talk like very loudly ( they're trying to emphasize that point) but I love soothing voice and that's why I love your videos 🤍
I got my 🔴 the first 5 days of Ramadan 😭, it completely messed my approach to Ramadhan 😔. During Ramadhan it's important to be in the purest state, and being in period is being in a state of impurity so I think that is what is most troubling for us to get over during Ramadhan. Of course we try and continue to make it special, but having your period drains ur energy...then the next day when u are done with period you must fast which again can make you exhausted....so the period depending on how heavy you have takes 7-8 days counting post days out of ur momentum of Ramadhan as a woman. By the time u overcome the period effects on ur energy, 1/3 Ramadhan has passed.
Indeed I can relate alott. I also had my period for the first 5 days of Ramadan and after the period was over I still couldn't get back on the track😥😔 it's okay sister I can feel you. You are not alone 🤗
Aww my dear sis ♥️ totally hear you! It can be rly hard to get the momentum back and get on track 🥺 Allah knows what each one of us experiences, and ya rab May He reward all of us immensely 🤲 lots of love and Duaas to you ♥️
@@deenandchai Ameen! Love you so much sister and thank you for this reminder 💗 Currently preparing EID gifts for masjid may Allah protect and help me this is my first time, I'm nervous! I cannot believe how much beauty there is in EID gifting available. Was doubting if it was logical but then remembered Quran 2:263 regarding spending in the way of Allah, so it is ok : ). These bags have chocolate, hijabs, tasbeehs, prayer mats, and mini qurans among other things. I got the idea from you, when you were talking about the gifts that are for deen like prayer mat ur dad gave you and how each time someone uses it the giver gets reward. May Allah SWT reward you beyond measure and all of the Muslimeen ameen💕⚘💞💗 you always give us great ideas
You give me pure happiness and peace of mind with your videos. I feel so grateful for your content and the way you communicate your knowledge and love for Allah saw. I resonated with all the advice you gave and made me so excited for my first Ramadan inshallah, thank you so much!! Have a great Ramadan inshallah Ameen 🤲🏽💖

2024 My 3rd Ramadan as revert Is day 10 and I had my period most of the time. I couldn’t feel more disconnected I m not enjoying this Ramadan I lost the atmosphere right after I got my period on Friday, today is Wednesday!!! May Allah forgives me
very helpful insightful suggestions, sister, may Allah reward you for your effort. Getting your menses during hajj or umrah is the worst. i cried too when that happened and even tho alhamdulillah i nearly completed it all and got them only during the last 3 days, not being able to see the kabah felt the worst. i felt horrible and already missed the kabah the moment i knew i couldnt go there. i had to tune in to the live stream from my hotel room to have the feeling to be there. what i have always dreaded the most during Ramadan was to get my menses during the last days, especially on laylatul Qadr. I always focused on the fact that i wont be able to perfom salah or read the Quran. Especially today i thought about what i would be doing this year, as i can predict them to come on the last days and was less sad this time as i pondered about options such as zhikr and listening to the Quran. And i found this video afterwards which gave me even more ideas. Such a great topic and posted at a good time. Keep doing your content, they are very helpful.
Assalam walekum sis, Alhamdullilah I had been waiting for you to make a video on this topic. Thank you for making one!! I loved everything about the video. So many helpful tips Masha Allah. The last tip has to be the highlight of this video - it can sometimes be difficult when you simply want to rest during that time of the month in Ramadan but you feel guilty and feel like you are wasting time. So, I loved how you said that its okay to rest and to rest with the intention to take care of our body and to energise ourselves for the upcoming days. Thank you for that reminder❤ May Allah swt reward you for making these beneficial videos. Aameen. 💖
JazakAllah khair sister for such nice tips. The one that stands out for me is considering this as a blessing and resting being thankful to Allah SWT :)
Thank you sister it certainly help. I love the tip regarding sticking with schedule 5 times a day since it’s one of the most hard things to get back on track after period is to pray on time.
Assalamu 'alaikum. Alhamdulillah, this is right on time and is a very beneficial reminder to me. I have thought of some of these ways but this video helped emphasise them. Loved the part about helping someone with their responsibilities and reading the tafsir with some snacks.❤ Looking forward to trying these in shaa Allah. Jazakillakhair. May Allah increase you in goodness and make you of those He loves the most and of those who love Him the most, in beautiful ways.Ameen.
Assalamualaikum wa rahmatullah wa barakatuhu . I really appreciate your work sister. I have helped me and many others you like to have a boost of motivation every day. May Allah bless you sister.
Assalemalikum sister. Mashallah some excellent tips here. Two that I was aware of but never occurred to me subhanallah. Jezakallah dear sister. Jezakallah. Xx
Salam sis! There's different opinions on the topic. Some scholars point to verse 79 in Surah Al-Waqi'ah: "None touch it except the purified", to mean that men and women have to be in a state of **ritual** purity before touching the Quran (i.e. wudhu or ghusl (if needed)). Some alternatives scholars have suggested is to read through a barrier e.g. glove or through a digital version, until one is able to make ghusl/wudhu. Again, there's different opinions on the topic 🌷
I am getting spotting from my period and the period is delayed bcz I'm dehydrated from fasting. I'm missing more days of ramadhan bcz of this. I feel extremely frustrated 😭😭
A/s sister Can u plzzz make a video on the concept of hijab in Islam? I see women wearing tiny shaylas only covering half their head n necks but the Shayla does not cover their chest, waist n hips as required. Can we call that hijab?
Assalamualikum sister I had an request I have a confusion about prayers because most of them say that women prayer is like mens prayer there is no difference between men and women prayer and others say no there is I am pretty confused I request u to make an video abt women's prayer pls Love from India 🇮🇳
Asslamalaikum sister very useful info and wonderful thoughts to spend your day when u r on periods I have a general question around the same topic like If I get my period when I’m fasting on that day say after my morning prayer, does it advice able to continue the fast or we should be breaking it abruptly??
You are not allowed to continue the fast. But in ramadan when it STOPS, then all these people must stay hungry through the remainder of the day: a person that reverts to islam after suhoor, a traveller who has returned home after suhoor, a woman who has ended her menstruation, an ill person who was exempt then recovered. All of these people have to make up the fast later on.
