Words can not express how beautiful that was. You should certainly record this on an album. I remember this song from long ago and it was, and still is anointed.. I have never heard it sang as beautifully as you girls have sang it.
I first heard this song on a Speer Family/Speers recording and it became a favorite immediately. There is something about the beautiful harmony here that makes it even more special. Thank you for sharing this memorial tribute with us.
Angels they singing is from the heart. They always lift my spirits. I wish I could tell them how much their songs help me. But they're probably too famous to get a personal message from me. Perhaps I'll meet them in heaven
I always associate this song with Squire Parsons and the Kingsmen. They were one of my mama’s favorites, grew up listening to their version. Beautiful song, and y’all did an amazing job.
Ephesians 2:8-9 KJV 8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.
Beautiful harmony, as always! The Cruse Family was a favorite when I was a teen and into our married years. I still have a couple of vinyls including the one when Janice Archer first married into the group!
Incredible performance to honor Lari, whom I consider the greatest arranger and producer in gospel music history. Thank you for presenting this tribute with such reverence, beauty and excellence.
That song was one of my Teenage favorites. Just FYI bask then when this song was going around, the Cruse family was from Little Ol’ Jacksonville, Texas.
Beautiful... beautiful Your music is always beautiful - family harmonies... can't beat it, and especially when presented in worship as an offering to God! Amen!! (Re the preamble before you sang... It's the resurrection we wait for at the Second Coming of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. Do the Scriptures say we go to Heaven when we die? Lazarus came out of the tomb when Jesus called...He didn't descend from Heaven); Jesus rose from the tomb on the 3rd day and even said (to Mary?) that He had not yet ascended to His Father. When Jesus was crucified Scripture says that graves were opened and some were resurrected. There are of course exceptions, like Enoch but he didn't die (what a powerful story) and Mose and Elijah... Please don't think me disrespectful nor am I am looking to start a debate on your channel but just that we look a little deeper at this long taught tradition through the lens of the Bible.)
