I truly appreciate this community effort! I grew up in the backwoods of Nova Scotia. My mother quilted along with both grandmothers, way back many generations. I have taken it up again. I made my first one in my late teens, went on to garments and now that I'm in my 70's, I'm back to quilting. Hooray to all of you for making this possible!
Thanks G for another great video and Anna for all you do so those of us that cannot attend can still enjoy the spectacular quilts. Thank the Lord for another perfect day.
Thank you so much Anna for the video of the Sisters Quilt Show. I was fortunate enough to get to go one year and was in awe of so many beautiful quilts as I was seeing in this video. I sure hope to go one more time to see this spectacular show.
Sisters is my favorite place in the world! I have not been able to visit for years but thanks to you I went there (virtually) today. As a new quilter this was so inspiring. Thanks for bringing two of my faves together.
Was lucky enough to have been there this year. It’s such a WOW event seeing beautiful quilts hung up everywhere. The people involved in putting up & taking down the quilts deserve a big👍 👏 thanks. Anna thanks for the pictures I know I missed some.
A wonderful trip down lane from when I lived in Portland. My daughter lived in Bend so I would stay with her and we would enjoy the show. Since moved to Utah and haven't made it back up there. Thank you so very much for this wonderful video. I, too, cross stitch and quilt, so I enjoy all your videos. Again, Thank you.
Where in Utah do you live? Me too. Love Oregon. Hubby lived there as a boy. We visited every September as Campgroung Hosts. Too old now. Miss it terribly. Utah is hot!
Oh Anna & G, thank you soooo much for sharing the quilts and music. Seeing the quilts makes me think I should sell my machine and fabrics. 😩. I’ll never be that level of quilter. They are positively stunning. OMG to the 10th degree. ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Thank you Anna for taking us along to The Sisters Outdoor Quilt Show. What amazing and beautiful quilts! Love the Bucket List quilt..how fun. Tell G thanks for the wonderful background music. See you next time.
Fun to see how the quilts are hung and all the locals that volunteer to help! I attended the Sisters Outdoor Quilt Show in 2014. It was a very hot day in 90s but a very fun time!
Wow, so thrilled to see the quilt show already. So exciting! It's more of an "art show". The quilts are exceptional and so much more than I expected. Wow is the only word I can say...Thanks Anna and G for the video. Once again u made my day!!!! Love u💖
Thank You to both Anna and G for sharing this. I have always wanted to attend the Sisters Outdoor Quilt Show so I really appreciated being able to see this fantastic show.
Thank you for sharing this awesome event. I have visited this quilt show with you now for several years. Oh,how I would love to attend in the future. I'm currently dealing with T-1 bladder cancer and will be starting the GCB treatments soon. Our Lord is so good, trusting that he will give me a clean bill of health for the future. Thank you again for all that you and G. do to include us in your activities. You feel like family when we visit...💕
Pretty town. So clean. The intro song was a bit strange, unusual chord changes. Finally, what a quilt show!!! I loved seeing the setting up, with the firefighters in there, hanging up the quilts. So American!
I have never seen so many beautiful, imaginative quilts. Sisters looks like an awesome place. I might have to put this affair on my bucket list. You and G do a great job of catching everything there is to see. Thanks for taking us along for this wonderful ride!
Thank you for sharing this. Such beautiful quilts and happy people! Reminds me of all the craft fairs my family did for years. Was such fun. You are all so talented! Thanks again.
Thank you, I really enjoyed watching the video. So many beautiful quilts, I will put this event on my bucket list, but as I live in Australia I have no idea when I will manage it, but as they say never say never. ❤ Thank you once again.
Thanks so much for bringing the show to us! I must say, I loved seeing the Sisters intro again. I have so many good memories tied into our visits there and as the intro to your vlogs while living in Sisters. I do miss those days and the times you went on rv trips. At least we have those memories to look back on as the years march on. Life has changed so much these past couple of years. It’s good to go back in time to the good days.
Thanks so much for taking us all on a tour of the quilt show. I love how the opening was from your videos of when you lived in Sisters - A wonderful trip down memory lane. Definately on my bucket list. 🤗🤗😎😎😊😊
Oh my goodness Anna! Such a treat to be able to see all those beautiful quilts. You & G done an amazing job capturing the town, the show and all those quilts. I would love to visit there one day. I loved every minute of the video. Take care sweet friend. Hugs 💕🧵🎉👑🐝☀️🦋🌼💕
Sigh, missing the Sisters already!! You would think I would have had enough but NO WAY, just adore watching everything I can about this fabulous week!! I was so happy to see the beginning intro as that is the song I hummed as I drove into town the first time. Corny, but true!! Love it and Miss it! I was thrilled to pieces to meet you both. Checking things off a bucket list is grand! Hugs from NE Ohio!
Thank you Anna and G for taking us to the show. A friend and I were planning on attending but she had medical issues come up so maybe next year. It looked like a lovely day for everyone. Now I can stop and look closely and then move on the to the next one. Meeting you at some point will be on my bucket list too!
Big Thanks to G for playing his music and taking us once again for that drive through Sisters before filming and editing the Quilt Show. Didn't realise how I've missed that opening to Quilt Roadies!! Fabulous quilts as always. Interesting to see Chris Yo as her bags look really good. Enjoy yourselves at Sisters.
Thank you Anna and G, this was a great video!! I attended Quilters Affair and the Outdoor Quilt Show in 2016 with a good friend. It was a wonderful experience, and definitely a show I’d love to see again.
I can’t believe that G got this edited and up so quickly he did a wonderful job on recording the show. I saw many I missed and it was a perfect day for the show. Looking forward to coming down again next year ti visit with you and maybe do a sit and stitch and a class or two!
I live in central Oregon and I have been to the quilt show several times. All the quilts are so gorgeous, it gives me something to aspire to. I was never there early to see how the quilts were hung, I didn't realize that the fire dept. was involved.
