Hey girls, I’m one of your black viewers (I’m a girl 🙋🏽♀️). I appreciate you both for wanting to say something. I want you to know that it’s okay to not say anything as well. A lot of people are trying to say something so they don’t look like they’re against the cause but when you’re not speaking from the heart you end up having to apologize later. It’s okay to not say anything. I know you girls have really good and pure hearts and aren’t out to hurt anyone. I’ve been saying the same thing about God loving *ALL* of his children and that *He* is the TRUE definition of “I don’t see color.” If we’re all reading the same Bible we should all be aiming to love each other the way Jesus loves us. Unfortunately there will always be hatred and racism in the world and I will always worry a little about how safe I and my family really are. It’s hard, but I remind myself that in all this chaos God is in control. Always has been and always will be. Hearts from Atlanta! 💜💜💜
I appreciate you saying "it's okay to not say anything". Some people are shaming others for their supposed "silence" on this issue, but I would rather say nothing than be disingenuous or virtue signal (not saying that the girls are doing that). What was done to George Floyd was wrong not because of the color of his skin but because he is a human made in the image of God and his life, every life, is valuable.
This was so beautifully put. Thank you. I try to remain neutral on something until I've absolutely heard both sides view on it. I try to hear multiple news sources ,read whatever I can, and hear the personal opinion of the people of both sides. Then and only then do I decide my side if I choose one at all. It’s very hard when my white brothers and sisters in Christ remain silent when injustice is one of the very things Jesus would not stand for. God is grieved when any innocent blood is shed. Loved it, loved it, totally loved it. I cried even because of Taylor how she said in the beginning how she over thinks a lot and feels guilty and shame and so much anxiety and I am the same. I don't want to leave my house or even go to work anymore but I have not been spending time with God, I stopped back in February and feel horrible but can't seem to bring myself back to my daily morning routine. It is great that I could see both of your routines! Usually when i see those routines, I start comparing myself to others and i miss the point. But now i could see various routines and it hits differently. After watching this i do not feel like my routine is not good enough. For the first time the routine video inspired me instead of being comparing myself. Love you girls, you are the best!
