I know nearly nothing about these girls, but based on their wonderful covers I have felt some nice symphaty towards them. They seem to be natural, humble and cool. This first single is quite positive to me, as it seems to be the start of something. I liked that they did not want to be too much right at the beginning. Technically, I really miss either a little bit more intense guitar or a synth presence in the second half of the song to lift the song up a little bit, cause this way the song remains sort of flat. Anyway congratulation. And girls: keep being cool but natural and simple, these 3 is quite missing on the pop scene recently :)
LYRICS: I'm screaming at your voicemail Yet again you left me worrying if you got home You can't tell me that you're fragile But you won't hide self-loathing with your new cologne You'll hope I didn't notice I'll never know whose kitchen floor you're sleeping on So full of empty promise A selfish drunk isn't so funny with no music on You're a lot baby, you take all my energy Although I never have to doubt you're in love with me I won't keep propping you up, it's not fair, I'm not strong enough, girl I'm so exhausted by you You're a lot baby, you take everything from me This ain't a casual endevour I wish I didn't hate a world in which you're not around Will I lose you forever? If I let you off again, you'll only let me down You're a lot baby, you take all my energy Although I never have to doubt you're in love with me I won't keep propping you up, it's not fair, I'm not strong enough, girl I'm so exhausted by you You're a lot baby, you take everything from me
