The Metallic Burgundy isn't inspired by the Metallic Red, but rather is indeed an ORIGINAL Jordan 1 colorway. This is the first time it's ever been retroed since 1985.
yea people don't realize how rare that pair is and is considered one of the hardest to find Jordans right now in Dead stock condition. It's basically like finding an original 1985 Jordan 1 in perfect condition which is basically impossible I really hope I can get a pair on drop day.
I think it makes that black toe unique from the rest thats came out. Instead of just getting the same thing thats dropped multiple times. You're getting something different that actually has a genuine story and history behind it. Tbh If ur a true Jordan head you'll buy em. @@V0ltron
Just came here to say this. You would think Seth would know this! Literally an OG Colourway that’s releasing 😂 If you look back at all the 85 new versions they have released they are all original colourways (some og releases, some samples) thats the whole point.
Its funny to see how different coutries sees the sneakers out there. In the US that first Nike Dunk is a OK release, nothing to worry, for me and my friends and a lot of pages here in brazil that colorway is one of the best releases of the last couple of years. So clean, so wearable. US tends to like more vibrant and "big" sneakers, over here majority likes the low versions with more subtle colors. Great vid

Why don't nike drop their valentines day and Halloween sneakers 3 weeks before the actual day. That way people would have them to rock on the day. It's pointless releasing them on the actual holiday
i want those off white 3's and i feel like they will be pretty common but there is some hype. I would like to get them under retail but I'm a size 13 and bigger sizes even in shoes that don't resale well or to hyped always run out. i feel the same for the bred 4's though i doubt i will get a pair but personally i liked the nubuck versions better, i dont need or would wear the bred 4's but for the hype o n them ill try for to get a pair. last i would loveee to get that Chinese new year af1 =(

I think the burgundy dunks look dope basically a burgundy lobster dunk for a quarter of the price and the materials looks better then what we got on a lot of the collabs last year. I focus more on the quality of materials the Q&C of a shoe and the actual wearability of the color-way Which that shoe checks all the boxes for me. The bone pair is satin so pretty shitty material and stains super easy and creases terribly and its a white sneaker. So gonna get dirty as shit so burgundy is way to go for that pack.

I find it kinda funny that Trophy room did a shoe based off Jordan rookie card. Yet they're using his 2nd rookie card which wasn't his first rookie card and they only choose that one cause he started working with Nike after 1985 but. Jordans actual rookie card came out 3 years prior to the 1986 card. So basically they didn't even get the correct card and just tryna sell u some story to buy the shoe that isn't even accurate and making people believe a false story that its his first rookie card.
