@@soupertastic Sita Raman is an awesome movie. If it doesn't have any kiss scene or intimacy scene means that the director thought that it is a period drama, so there is no need of any kiss or intimacy scene and all age people should enjoy the movie, that's why even if there are scenes they can show them intimately they didn't want it, because love can be expressed without those scenes. But nowadays they show those kiss or intimacy scenes in the movies, that doesn't mean they are not real love.

Dear Sita, For someone who lives through words as much as I do, really thought I could put myself together and write a well composed letter for you but I'm so overwhelmed that I guess words totally fail me now. Experiencing your tale made me feel so human, copious with emotions. What a confounding, magical, poignant tale if I may say, it was. Sita, I don't want to spoil much for people who didn't witness your journey so, I just wanted to say what an absolute angel you are for Ram! You could be anything. Damn, you are a beautiful dream yourself living a life many envy of, but you wanted to be his. You left everything to be his family that he never had, to be his everything. You've fought a war within you, and with the people who misunderstood Ram for years. You're no less than a super hero and nothing less than 'the Sita'. The patience, the devotion and the love you've for Ram is divine. Your Ram of course deserved you! Who could blame you for falling in love with someone who's so kind, empathetic, who brings butterflies to you, who leaves Kashmir, cross the states to meet you who sent him few 'casual' letters but never met him? Those letters literally made you his home, Sita. You were a mystery to him when he read the letters at first, but you became the most certain thing he's known forever. You were the moon to his sky. The love you've for each other beats the words and worlds. No one could fathom how it must have been for you after reading the letter Balaji gave you. I wish the letter reached you sooner for the world to know how loyal, honest and incredible Ram was like you've always believed, sooner. I wish people weren't so cruel to each other. I wish Wahida wasn't stuck that day. Seeing how much of an eccedentesiast you are, I wish I could give you a big hug for surviving through years of hope. I wish Ram didn't accept the mission, but he wouldn't be 'Ram' if he'd done so, right?! wish I could meet him and tell him how brave, compassionate, self less he was and how fortunate he was, to be able to find you!

The return of the timeless, classical, Indian film romance - and people say such stories are "outdated" where people don't want to see them. No, do them right and you'll capture the world's attention like this beautiful film did. DQ and Mrunal were excellent and hats off to the writers - precisely for creating that "slow burn" which doesn't spoon-feed you - but makes the entire journey satisfying in the end.

Both in 96 and SeetaRamam, even before the climax, we cling to the hopes that the pair will live together. But the ending is otherwise. For the same reason, we feel broke. Yet it is somewhat better with SeetaRamam as India honours Ram and it is something better. But in 96, I can't dare to watch that movie again. I can't take that pain.

The narrator voiceover was because, people in Kashmir speak Hindi/Urdu, same in Pakistan, but this is a Telugu movie, so there was a voiceover in Telugu everytime someone spoke in Hindi. But interestingly when Afreen reaches Hyderabad, she starts speaking Telugu fluently instead of Urdu/Hindi, that's just a creative decision they made to make it easier for people to understand.

Achara, the reason why all of us chant about this movie as a most beautiful love story is that after a very long time we saw a great love story that we care for the characters and want them to be together, their chemistry and the love story doesn't seem inappropriate (ex. brahmastra) or unnecessary for the plot. It was organic, well-written and you could feel the emotions with them even though the movie has problems but you can't help but ignore them, love the characters and the beautiful sad love story 😭💓💔 (I'm crying again)

The main problem in Indian movies is that in most stories the lovers are reunited or have a happy ending, triumph of good over evil.But this film kept it realistic.When Lt Ram was captured by Pakistani army and send to prison,that very moment we knew thats things will not end well.This movie for me will be close to my heart forever.

In Director point of view it's not sad ending. He said the letter has to reach Sita. Finally it has reached sita. Ram would be happy as the letter is delivered and major Tariq promise has fulfilled.

Not only you but almost everybody cried at the end! We all were expecting that Ram would come back and finally Ram and Sita will be together but the writers has done amazing job to follow the original from Ramayana! This is the best love story i have seen so far! So pure so adorable

I was the first one to recommend this movie. Please react to more of Dulquer Salman, for me he is the most underrated actor in india. Whenever DQ appeared in the screen it feels like a magic, such a magical & unique actor. He has something special that no other actor has, whenever he is on the screen I'm totally into it & also so much invested into the plot. Watch more of DQ, trust me, u both guys would love him even more

Most of the people are misunderstanding Vishnu as a character He loved Ram .. he never betrayed him when he was alive He stood there n got caught by the Pakistani army when Ram went in to rescue Waheeda. He betrayed the country because of his love for his family.

Saw this movie 2 days ago and my heart is still full of sorrow, I wish I’d seen this movie in theatre, the acting is so phenomenal and the script was also amazing. I could never get over the emotions I felt while Watching this. Low-key hoping one day I would get to Experience love as powerful as this one.. just not a heartbreaking one, I am not strong as Sita.

Achara - You are right, the duplicate dub thing was done intentionally since it is a Telugu movie and those characters in Kashmir and Pakistan speak Hindi/Urdu. So the director wanted to start the conversation in Hindi to make the scenes more realistic and authentic.
@PolishIndianHeart
@PolishIndianHeart Год назад
Yes, the dub-over thing was disturbing me too. That's the only fault (let's call it a technical issue?) I find in this movie. As a foreigner I prefer to watch a movie in its original language version - I need subtitles anyways. This is a Telugu movie but some dialogues were said in English, Hindi or Urdu (when the scenes were taking place in London, Kashmir or Pakistan) and they overdubbed them in Telugu for Telugu people so that they can understand them. I hope next time the makers will also release an international version of this movie without those dub-overs (for me it was killing the emotions in the movie).
