Have you heard of "What We Do In The Shadows"? It premiered on channel 4 a month or 2 ago so I'm sure you can find it somewhere, it's vampires where one of them is Matt Berry because he is suddenly everywhere again. And that's only a good thing in my opinion.
Tyler a couple months ago: "Let's learn about the lightbulb and historical figures!" Tyler now: "Let's learn about my crippling depression and rhyme about what feeds into it!"
"I might not mention your favourite SITCOM, or whatever, because maybe I just don't like it. Or maybe I just don't like you. Eeever think'a that?" Never change, man.
Perfect comedy is comedy gold. And that doesn’t include stuff that makes fun of me. If you don’t make fun of me, you get my seal of approval. If you do, labor camp
Puts ALF all around the video but doesn't talk about it. ALF: "Am I a joke to you ?" No but for real why didn't you talk about ALF but he was the footage of 75% of this video ?
Long ago we lived in the crazy noisy bizarre Negaverse combined into one. Life was practically peaceful in many parts of the crazy noisy bizarre negaverse. One fateful day, the Smithy Gang had made a man known as Retep their general. He proved his power by killing over 1 billion versions of Juggernaut, Doomsday, Darkseid and Thanos. This turn of events shook the entire world.... With no one, whether they be a hero or villain even willing to challenge the Smithy Gang. They easily took over the Crazy Noisy Bizarre Negaverse. After Smithy declared himself the ruler of the Crazy Noisy Bizarre Negaverse. He and the rest of his goons stole all the hentai. The loss of the hentai drove many to fall into despair. They knew they wouldn't be able to stop the Smithy Gang. This all was to Junko's delight.. Many years later...... Bill Cipher and Aku started a rebellion due to their hentai and weed being taken away. They were holding it for their friends. The war against Retep's forces lasted for centuries. Many had perished to fight for the freedom of the crazy noisy bizarre negaverse. During the final battle something happened. It was the work of... Kirby, Gumball Waterson, Izuku Midoriya, Atsuko Kagari, Ruby Rose, Ogilvie Maurice 'Sonic' Hedgehog, Bowser Jr., Meatwad, Darwin Waterson, Steven Universe, Zim, Ash Ketchum, Rowley Jefferson, Greg Heffley, Ryuko Matoi, Frisk, Crash Bandicoot, Stewie Griffin, Chris Griffin, Cuphead, Hat Kid, Doom Slayer, Banjo, Kazooie, Nathan Adams, Takato Matsuki, Guilmon, Butters Stotch, Ren Amamiya, Bart Simpson, Sam, Max, Beavis, Butthead, and Spongebob Squarepants. They all planned to fuse into an omnipotent being. The being, able to defeat Retep had struggled though However..... None of them could take into account that there was a reason Smithy was Retep's boss. They all defused under the idea that they didn't need to be omnipotent to fight Smithy and could easily take him on. They didn't know a technique that Smithy learned would end the war in his favor. One called.... the Asspull. Smithy proceeded to knockout the warriors. Deeming them unworthy of death he channeled Manbearpig as he prepared the universe ending technique. After the warriors failed to stop Smithy's asspull. The Crazy Noisy Bizarre Negaverse exploded into many universes resetting everything. Now.... The multiverse starts to collapse as various universes merge together. The reincartions of the warriors will have to team up to survive and fight assholes How would these characters react if it was true?
*content was in-offensive, safe* *shows clips from All In The Family, probably the most serious and historically/culturally important sitcom of all time, which talked about racism in many episodes, as well as rape, death, hate crimes, etc.*
Others: I miss geography Me: nice slide whistle with the kurt cobain. (I liked what he posted previously but I like what he posts now as well[Especially if he enjoys the process more.{also enjoy your ryhminng and alliteration}])
So Community was never a thing? I mean, if you're going to all but say that the only reason you're not talking about Dan Harmon's current project is that it's animated it's really weird not to talk about his previous project.
I love the direction knowledge hub and emplemon are taking lately... Actually talking about the things they have genuine interest in, rather than the things they're obligated to discuss.
This video shows your age. The fact that you dismiss shows from before 1990 and the fact that you put Cheers and the Cosby show into the 90 category when most of their run was in the 80s
I feel like someone should re-write that Softball song from the Simpsons to lyrics about sitcoms, including lines like "Bill Cosby and his special sauce."
Mentioning mockumentaries in the early 2000s and not mentioning trailer park boys, is like mentioning the computer industry and not mentioning Microsoft
An amazing sitcom that I very much enjoy is called ‘The Good Place’. Without spoiling the plot, it’s a brilliant commentary on how characters in a sitcom have to keep being tortured so the sitcom could continue. If the characters are simply happy, it can no longer continue and has to be ended. The last season is airing on NBC in Fall and I just can’t wait.
I'd say the new sitcom is, like.... RU-vidrs. You know Jenna Marbles, Pewdiepie, David Dobrik, ooooor whoever you like. Whoever you think is fun / funny and want to watch be kinda wacky on a regular basis... They might not beeeee exctly the same, but they seemingly fill that role, except their "real" people for the most part and not watching some scripted scenario brought to life by actors. People on a screen, you feel you know to a degree who are living out fun situations and antics sounds very "sitcom-ie" to me... And that's many popular RU-vid figures.
Never gave a damn about Cheers, so in Middle School and it ended and 97% of everyone LOUDLY lamented it by singing the theme song for days. So horrible.
Wait, so no mention of Community? It ran from 2009 to 2015, and isn't a nihilistic show about horrible people, and is honestly one of the greatest shows I've ever watched.
I'm also sad, and also can't afford my antipsychotic medications so also hallucinating pretty wildly right now. At least it's not boring being a paranoid schizo lmao.
I think a lot of youtube channels/people are feeling like they need to try something different. It's to keep from burning out and I'm for it. I'd rather see where else they go with their work than never see them again. Unless I'm just reading into it too much.
