Good one, I have a slightly different requirement. I need to use NAT overloading for inside private IP address to a public IP and IPSec VPN tunnel to other end. Remote site server has public IP. My device is Cisco ISR router. Can you help?

Nice Video & elaborated concepts on Router / ASA VPN with NAT. I was facing error while applying Dynamic NAT with assigning a pool at either endpoints. Then tried with Dynamic NAT with PAT. However let know if and VPN load balancing can be done on routers. ?

Hi rob, just an inquiry. Im working as well with the same setup with one of our clients which has IPSEC VPN with NAT. The said VPN router provides IPSEC VPN and Internet access internally. I get the whole NAT and IPSEC VPN configuration. However the WAN interface of the said router has an inbound acl which basically allows only esp and udp eq isakmp (needed for IPSEC VPN). Im just wondering how come the WAN VPN router has internet access without the implicit permit defined in the inbound acl. Maybe you can guide mo in this scenario.

Thank you for this video, In your lab, is it possible to build a VPN site to site between IOS router and ASA router with IKEv2 on ASA ? Does R1 (IOS) support only IKEv1 ?

Does the configuration work on ASA 8.2 or 8.4.2 ? If not is it possible to do something similar with those ASA versions ?
