I love my Roger’s waders with a removable insulated liner. But I’ll probably go Sitka next time. Or Chene.

What size of wader do you wear? XL, L, were around the same size. Did you go with Tall being over 6"?

They’re pretty adjustable, I’m 6’3 180 and the large fits me perfect.

Worth every penny! I hunt every bit of 60 plus days on a 90 day season and these by far lasted longer than any brand on the market and yes had em all! Sitka's lasted 5 seasons before my first boot leak. Sent em in they swapped the boots and found three pin holes I had zero clue about and fixed em all for free! Took 3 weeks including ship time. Waders are top notch just like the customer service. Dont want to pay 1k just check out market place. Plenty of people selling em and warranty transfers. ✌️

I hunt Michigan on big water. I purchased last year and used them the entire season. Probably 20 hunts all the way into January 1st. The no insulation was awesome! Yes awesome. My feet or legs did not get cold. I wore Sitka heavyweight bottoms and the Sitka Gradient pants. I was very concerned about not having the insulation and now I would not go back. We’re they worth $1,000 idk yet. In 5 years if my report is the same then the answer is yes. I should add that I am a wimp in cold weather I have to wear gloves because I tend to get cold easier. I hunt with some guys that don’t where gloves in MI and I don’t know how they do it.

Bought these in late December of 23. On the 5th hunt ever, my entire left boot filled up with water. My cheap $150 Magellan waders outlasted my brand new Sitka waders………extremely disappointed in Sitka for that…….sent them off for a warranty repair and a month later I’m still waiting on them to come back. 🤷🏻‍♂️ thinking about going with Chene. EXTREMLEY disappointed in Sitka.

Do the hand warmer pockets have zippers?

No

Thanks for reply No zippers and pockets without some good sherpa fleece. Big fail for hunters that are bare handed more than any other hunter and can be in some deep water from time to time, especially getting to a hole.

I have the new boats. Have 9 days in em… the liner inside boots has ripped already. It’s some sort of nylon. Not leaking but annoying.

Also the new boots are only 600 gram insulation

I’ve had mine, gen 1, for a few years and I can’t stand them. I did get them on sale in the off season for 750$. Every time I turn around I get another leak. I sent them in twice now for leaks. The first they replaced the boots, fixed leaks and it was free(they even paid for the shipping). The process is pretty easy and wasn’t that big of a deal. They shipped them from Michigan to california to be fixed and it took a long time for them to come back. They were good for a year and started to leak again. I called they said it was a long wait for them to come back as it was peak of season so I just wore them until season was over. When season was over i sent them in and I had to pay 70$ for them to be fixed. They found 12 pin holes they said. This time they shipped somewhere on the east coast. When I got them back they still leaked In the same spot. I would not recommend them at the current price point. I will say the zipper is awesome, the boot is the most comfortable boot/shoe I’ve ever worn and the straps are very comfy. I wouldn’t buy an insulated wader ever again. I have Simms waders for fishing that I’ve had for 10 years and they don’t leak. I also fish a ton so I would recommend simms but I hear they have quality issues since they were bought out too.

I spoke to Sitka today and the rep in customer service told me that they no longer run the Lacrosse boot on the wader anymore. This seems like news to me. Can you confirm that?

Yeah they did not renew their contract with lacrosse

@@RU-viduser-yp8qk My issue is I wear a 15 in a Lacrosse Alpha Burly and can squeeze into a 14. I’d like to order a pair of 3XL-14 waders but not sure the 14 is something I can squeeze into. Any sense of what the new boot fits like?
