The mountain evo is my favorite of all time in the sitka line. It's also nice because they are always discounted.

I am totally sold on the ambient line. I have the 100 hoodie and the 150 jacket in both sub Alpine and EV2 and the brown color for around the property. The best piece they have come out with in a while

Agreed. My ambient jacket is a game changer for warmth as a mid layer. It replaced my traverse hoodie used as a mid layer before.

great video thanks for the comparison i just ordered a scree jacket things are on sale and selling like hot cakes. i found next to no reviews on it other than the couple reviews on sitkas site and the video you made on it a little while ago. this video convinced me to buy it. Sitka if you see this, give this guy a check for making the sale lmao!

Really stuck between the scree and the ambient. I run first lite bases with fanatic hoody and stratus jacket/vest. I would be using as a mid and also an outer with a vest over if wind is not bad. Ambient seems to be the right choice but the scree looks amazing.

In kansas this year I was running the light weight base layer, fanatic hoody and the stratus jacket. I felt myself getting cold in 35 and below. I didn't have a static insulation piece to hold my heat in. Whats the best insulation piece for whitetail and not have to run my bulky fanatic so early?

Ambient hoody or traverse hoody. I have both and wear the ambient walking out but swap it with the traverse and stratus around those temperatures once I cool down.
