I like that it’s sitting. The Infared 6’s with Nike Air on Heel tab sat on footlocker when it came out, I copped. The black cement 3’s with Nike air sat at my local downtown footlocker, I was able to cop. Let the OG’s sit. So the real OG sneaker heads, can scoop them up lol 😂😤💯🤷🏾♂️.
We'll see what happens in November when the "other" 9 drops. As a 46 yr old OG OG, I'm glad the real nostalgia heads will be able to cop. Cats now day's arent sneaker heads, or even collectors. They're hype heads looking to cop for resale, I ain't gone knock your hustle but come on
I’m a 61 year old OG. I had to get these for old times sake. I’m somewhere between a sneaker head and a collector focused on the OG color ways from my youth. All these hype beasts, bots and resellers have ruined the experience of simply buying sneakers. You know how it used to be as a fellow OG. We used to go to Footlocker and get what we wanted. Getting shoes now is like trying to get concert tickets.
$210 for a pair of 9’s is crazy. But also, people just don’t have the extra cash to go after shoes consistently. These brands drop shoes literally every weekend taking the prices up most of the time. So yea stuff will sit until some of these go on sale.
I copped my TTS size 10, but thinking of going back to FTL tomorrow and swapping for a 10.5 because they feel too snug on the toe box, what do you think?
@@allens4229 they will feel snug until you break them in I went true to size because a 10.5 would be too big trust me I have another pair of 9s that I bought a few years back them run true to size but the break in process is brutal 😂 get you some toe sleeves that will help until they break in
I’m a old head and I’m all about nostalgia, and by this being the 30 year anniversary of the 9, I’m surprised they didn’t start by retro-ing the white/black OG version with the subtle glitter. Those would have sold out immediately.

I rocked them yesterday and i got hella people asking where i got them! I love that they dont crease easy at all, wore them all day and not a single wrinkle or mark 🤷 slept on shoe for real
Love the vids! I’m an 80s latch key kid that grab all the OGs when they release. Got 2 pairs (1 for toe and one for collection) esp with that white bottom. At 50 yo in prime earning years with a thriving business and 25+ years sacrificing for kids, college, retirement and getting out of debt I’m now fortunate to be able to cop the sneakers when I want. 🙏

Had these in high school when I was in the 11th grade I was the only one who had them I’m 49 now and a big Jordan fan. I love some of the silhouettes of the Jordan’s but I think I might have to pass on these but if I catch it it outlet I might have to cop.
Used $20 status reward from finishline and paid $205 after tax. I'm good with that price. I didn't feel right paying full retail knowing they may go on sale. These are a must have in my opinion!

They will sell out in a few days, but im sure there will be plenty of consolidated re-stocks at some point. What some of you consider bricks, arent even available im some States....just depends on your demographic & location. I have numerous stores in Ohio that dont even get stock for release days
I definitely agree I got my pair off sneaker app but this generation really don't care about og Jordan's I just checked da sneaker app from 7.5 til 11 still in stock I never had this pair so it was a must for me
Nike is playing everyone like addicts. They know people are going to pay whatever price they put on their shoes. Even if you don’t cop on the release day; you’re going to eventually spend close to what they want you to pay. My motto is “Study long, study wrong.” Get the shoes you like before they’re gone.
I seen today on fb that there are some guys getting them for 167$. They are buying from the military base stores but got to have a military 🪪 but I have a god son in the navy I need to hit up 😂 real talk

MJ never touched the NBA court in the AJ9 model while with the Bulls. If it was a collaboration and or part of the reimagined series maybe as with having more blue stitching & accents with white patent leather all around and had a bigger Jumpman logo in the back with the 23 added and let’s throw in some icy blue tint soles on the bottom …….would be all gone in minutes even with a large amount available.

Not everyone has $200-$210 for every release it’s just the truth. The 9 already isn’t everyone’s cup of tea to put it at $210 was the icing on the cake. I love the colorway but for me personally I’d rather be patient catch it on sale and if I don’t it’s cool. The olive will be the same story believe me if the beef and broccoli 9 boots sit the olives can too
I’m a OG collector and love 9s but powder blues never been sum I like. To each its own.. probably wouldn’t even cop on sale also… military 4s got pushed back to may 25th so I’m not buying nothing until I get those military blues
You said it yourself...these haven't been retro'd since 2010 and it's a J9, which is waaay down the list of coveted jordan silhouettes nowadays (even for OG colorways)...so the only people really looking forward to em are older heads for nostalgia purposes. There's just way.too many other drops to justify paying $210 for a J9 right now.

Mines came with glue stains, irregular toe box outsole on left shoe and paint chips. Returning. Went to mall to check them out. Not worth anywhere close to the $210 price tag. Need that refund. PASS.
