Thanks for doing this video! Bob Uecker is an American treasure in my opinion! And a great, nice guy as well!🙂👍⚾️ 89 years old and still a broadcaster!
I remember Bob Uecker!!,, loved his speaking voice! Totally forgot about Mr. Belvedere!! What an awesome ballpark!!! Love when the crowd is electric like that!! What a blast! ⚾⚾
Glad you were here! Die hard fan through and through. The crew is very sacred to my wife and I. I’m so happy you got to experience our city’s little slice of heaven. Including the tailgating. It’s a Milwaukee staple. We go to a ton of games, and listen to Ueck all the time. I grew up that way. Nothing better then listening to him call a game with my grandfather on a small transistor radio. My grandfather has been gone since 1992. I just wanna see the crew win the series for him. He deserves it. What you didn’t see was a plaque in the parking lot, not far from where you went in to the park, shows the exact spot the ball landed, of the last home run the ONLY true home run king hit, Hammering Hank.
Another awesome video, Jordan! Bob and I grew up in the same neighborhood on Milwaukee's west side! Loved him in "Major League" which was taped in many parts at Milwaukee's County Stadium, which is the current site of American Family Park! Thank you!!
So glad you made it to my city of Milwaukee and a Brewers game. We still call it Miller Park, lol. Bob Ueker is a legend. A few years back I got a glimpse of him heading to the broadcasters box.
It’s great seeing the perspective of my city from a visitor. Brewers games are always a good time! Ballpark food is the best! Bernie slides down the slide when they hit a home run. Hope you enjoyed your time here!
I have seen games in a few different parks. Each one has something unique about it. You have to see Wrigley field if you haven't. Nothing like a game there! A lot of history there! Enjoy your game.
I drove my then 76 year old father, mother, and my 13 year old son from NC to Milwaukee for a postmaster conference. It just so happened the Braves, our families favorite team was playing 3 games there. It was so fun we were there 6 days it was my families favorite trip. Brings back some great memories. Thanks so much for your video, Mr. The Lion
What a great day at the park. I remember Bob Uecker. Glad you enjoyed yourself. When you do these Baseball game vlogs, I always remember you and your grandpa at one of the games. Thanks for a lovely video. Stay safe and take care.
Nice hat Jordan. So coo .l Welcome to Wisconsin 😎 When i was young my dad used to listen to the Brewers and Bob Uecker while working in the yard back in the 80s It is one of the nicest stadiums .I Thank you Jordan for taking all us with you . hi to Katie an Jah
Bob Ueker was a favorite of Johnny Carson and I think he appeared on the Tonight Show many times. He was genuinely very funny and self deprecating and he and Johnny had a genuine chemistry that made his appearances must watch tv.
I remember the tv show he was in in the 80s. I'm 47 now Mr. Belvedere. 😊 the child actor that played in the show as the youngest is the same age as me in real life. ⚾
Hi Jordan, I just love at the plaques, statues and history in these baseball parks. Oh, that autographed baseball wall was brilliant. Glad you had a great day. Great vlog Jordan.
JORDAN!!!!! I'm from WI, but moved to Florida 23 years ago. Thank you so much for this vlog. I love the Brewers and the Yankees. I remember as a kid, going to the old County Stadium to watch the Brew Crew. I love the throwback hat! I shared this vlog with my sister and her husband, who are huge Brewers fans!
Jordan we really appreciate you showing us lots about MLB. As we are a small part of it in Canada. Oh I would love the family to see a game in MLB! lol we appreciate all the unique footage of how cool it seriously is especially live at the game & with 1000s! Of people that love the same! We have the Swift Current Indians, now called the 57s a WCBL team. Best I seen in Canada was the Vancouver Canadiens that are a Class - Affiliate of the Toronto blue Jays they used to be A Minor league baseball team of the triple-A Pacific coast league from 1978-1999. I only seen 2 MLB games ever but that's cool 😊,The Seattle Seahawks in the kingdom! ( best hotdogs! Ever : ) This Baseball content you are posting is amazing, seriously it's much appreciated & We thank you for taking us along Jordan. Cheers!✌🤝💫
This was awesome! I love that you are going to so many of the ball parks. Each one different than the other. So fun to see the statues of the players and Bob Uecker. Cleaver idea to put one of his statues in the stands for the fans. He was a cool guy. I had a Bucket List of places I had wanted to see once retired (like the ball parks) but my husband's health has changed our plans so thank you SO much for doing what you do!!
the first major league game i ever saw in person was back in the early 90's when my home team, the MN twins played the brewers at the metrodome in Minneapolis
I know I've posted this before. Anyways, I was working at a restaurant owned by one of Green Bay Packers hall of famers in Milwaukee in 1978. Bob Uecker came in one night. After closing, he chatted with us teenagers for several minutes. He was a very nice fella. Great memories.
I used to work at a bank in West Allis, Wisconsin. My favorite part was working the drive-through, because that’s where Robin Yount would come every other day or so. Very nice guy! I believe, at the time, he lived in Greendale, Wisconsin. I used to frequent Milwaukee County Stadium quite often. I’ve never been to the new stadium. I live in Florida now. Thank you for going to the new stadium. I go there vicariously through you.
I was DHL delivery driver, took a package to First Wisconsin Building. 42 stories up, Bud Selig's office. He only had two baseball things. Picture of Robin Yount, and maybe Hank Aaron? Maybe it was a bust of Hank. For sure what impressed me was that it was just a big picture of one guy. Robin Yount. Late 90's or early 2000's.
I just moved to Missouri in the beginning of June. I was really hoping to still be in Milwaukee when you did this video. But I love that you went there. It will always be Miller Park
Have you been to Aberdeen yet and seen Kurt Cobain's House and the memorial down near the bridge there's other things as well a John Wayne movie McQ the restaurant scene was shot at what now was most recently Wiitimaki Jeweler's the building is still there, plus While filming the beach scenes, the crew stayed at the Polynesian Hotel (The "Poly") in Ocean Shores.
Jordan I’m just curious if you saw the statue they have in honor of the three that died during the crane accident while the stadium was being built. I think it’s awesome that they honor those workers. Also Bernie used to slide down and when he got both the bottom water would shoot out, slide was also yellow. Fun video!
Glad to see cheer on the Brewers. I enjoyed your many videos you have done, especially meeting Eddie Van Halen. You gotta go to Racine Wisconsin where the Racine Belles are from. That's where I'm from.
Great ballpark on my list to to go to see a game there. Actually Abner Uribe is not hot garbage. His ERA is 1.59 and throws some nasty stuff. He did well against the Yankees throwing his 101 mph sinker striking out Judge.
I replied to one of your wrestler videos that you should check out Crusher Fest in South Milwaukee. Just curious if you timed your Milwaukee visit for that? It is fun to see you do my hometown as an outsider. Milwaukee is in Guiness book for largest music festival. Summerfest. Seems like no one knows of it outside Milwaukee. It is a nice RV destination for music fans. Ava Cherry Bowie's old flame and backup singer lives in Chicago. She said she never heard of it. She called me darling. I think she calls everybody darling though.
MLB says Miller Park needs about four hundred million dollars in upgrades/improvements. I doubt they’ll move but the cities most likely to be considered would be Nashville and/or Salt Lake City
@@DazewithJordantheLion Ha! You haven't been to the real Beaver Falls! This was a favorite show of all of us as kids. I grew up in the town next to Beaver Falls and half of the school had Beaver Falls addresses. Throwback to 5th or 6th grade! Love the channel Jordan!
Ueck... JUUUUUUUUUUUST A BIT OUTISDE!... take over Monty I have had enough.. Parkman he does that shimmy that makes all of the Cleveland fans wanna puke
