About Siwas Dance Pop Revolution:
“Siwas Dance Pop Revolution” follows momager Jessalynn Siwa and her pop superstar daughter JoJo Siwa as they create and launch a brand new group called XOMG Pop, music’s next big sensation! Jess has searched the country for the most talented kid triple threats and hand selected 11 of the most talented girls to compete for a spot in this new group. With Jess as the manager, and JoJo as the choreographer and mentor, Team Siwa will put to use all of their expertise in converting raw talent and skill into a worldwide phenomenon. Over the course of 8 episodes, we will see these girls (and moms) navigate the intensity of competitions to whittle down from 11 hopefuls into the perfect girl group. These kids are vying for a shot at stardom and getting a once-in-a-lifetime chance to open a concert for none other than JoJo Siwa herself.

I really love the fact that jojo and her mom saw how bad Abby treated them and everyone else and they try to treat their students better and be much nicer and understanding like you have to be with kids and not just yell and them and be rude like Abby!:)

The _Siwas_ are actually good friends with _Abby Lee._ JoJo has stated ALM taught her how to _'sink or swim'_ in what is a very hard and extremely challenging (show) business. They visited ALM in hospital when she was battling cancer. ALM has visited them in their home and has been a guest for Thanksgiving Dinner. ALM has also been to one of JoJo's concerts, and JoJo gave her a 'shout out' and met with her and the DM cast backstage afterwards. Cathy (Candy Apples) and Abby Lee are also long time friends, so do not be so quick to judge ALM on the strength of how she was portrayed on DM... so-called _'Reality TV'_ is often anything but real! *_R_* 😎

Kinley of course met JoJo & Jess last year when she was a dancer on JoJo's _'D.R.E.A.M. The Slumber Party'_ music video, in which she had several featured parts. You can't miss her... she is the tiniest girl, and also the most stand-out, even then! *_R_* 😎

With 7 episodes down and only 1 to go in what is probably a one-off limited series, I do not think you need worry about it becoming negative, especially as the final episode is apparently going to be focused on preparing 'XOMG-POP!' for their debut concert. *_R_* 😎

Hi first I really want to say I admire you for your strength and inspiration that your teaching to these girls.. and the opportunity you are sharing.. please I hope you hear me or someone does.. I couldn't go any further watching the first episode because of the only reason of what your goal is concerning who is special and who isn't. Young girls most of all are under such insane pressure to be perfect and "special" and if you could please let the girls you didn't choose know that they are allllll ALL special and unique and beautiful.. your entire purpose has such a terrifying heartbreaking message to the girls you decided unworthy.. you labeled and branded them as normal and NOT special... Without even realizing I'm sure.. because you've surely always been the number one special one.. it's so sad to think there are all those girls who put their heart and soul into your contest and didn't make it because you decided they aren't "Special".. the way we as humans use words can make or break someone in a single moment.. mental health and self esteem can be the unspoken dieing piece that is always somehow the thing that everyone has just now sort of embraced without discrimination and humiliation .. that I'd your not "Special" and your just "Normal" then your never going to get the shine like your winners.. please try and see this and hear this without being hurt or upset. I know how hard it is because I am the one that's never been SPECIAL and it's almost taken my life. Your amazing and you have so much to share to let all of them be special. English is obviously not your first language, so I am not sure if you meant what you wrote, but Kinley worked (as a dancer) with JoJo & Jess before on JoJo's, 'D.R.E.A.M. The Slumber Party' music video last year, and had several featured parts in it. Yes, her singing is not perfect... yet! But all she needs is some vocal training & coaching, and she will be fine. And in any event, 'XOMG-POP!' already has its primary singers in Kiya and Brooklynn, and the other girls will be secondary singers for the harmonies and occasional lead vocals, and Kinley is MORE than up to doing that, PLUS she is the most stand out dancer of the lot. *_R_* 😎

@@amysteward9591 Ignoring what you are implying... *_ALL_* I know about Kinley _(and her mum, Tracy, and the other girls and their mums)_ is what I have observed and discerned from having watched the series several times. _(I do not usually bother with so-called_ 'reality TV' _series, but SDPR had JoJo & Jess, and Jess's goal of finding and moulding talented kids into a new kiddie pop group turned out to be extremely interesting and quite compelling viewing.)_ I found out about Kinley's desire to come to England and visit HPW from a very brief exchange with her _(or Tracy replying on Kinley's behalf)_ on a reaction video of one of the girls' performances _(by Canadian musical theatre performer, and dance & vocal coach, Jordan Sparks)._ *_R_* 😎

kiya from boise, idaho lives in orange calif. excellent leader, bubbly personality, love facial expression... brooklyn FT worth, TExas, baby Michael J and baby Whitney powerhouse vocals,.... Leigha from Rowlett, Texas baby Ariel/Little Mermaid great animation dances on stage good for broadway...DAllas baby Mariah Carey most memorable with expression with her music like sign language and sensitive, ....tinie T from LA great choreographer, stunningly beautiful...Kinley from California, hype girl very hard working, ....bella from Miami, fl gynast very diverse and also multilingual

Okay, can somebody catch me up on what "Siwas Dance Pop Revolution" is about? I live in Australia, I haven't seen it advertised here and don't even know if there's a place for me to watch full episodes rather than the clips on this channel. Does Jojo want to have her own dance studio, and work with her mum to have the kind of experience they wish they would've have with ALDC? Like their own spin-off of Dance Moms, or is it something completely different? Why do there have to be cuts, which puts pressure on 10 year olds when they don't necessarily need that pressure? I'm glad I stopped dancing just as it was starting to get more competitive and less about having fun. I had just started doing netball and had to choose between netball and dancing, because it's really difficult to do both. It took several years before I stopped playing netball, but I've always found other ways to dance for fun (I'm more of a Zumba for exercise and fun kind of person now).

JoJo has her own dance studio, but it’s simply the building that she owns. She rehearses in it, and has fun in it. I think she also lets choreographers hire it out/teach in it. But she doesn’t really teach/have students there. JoJo is 18 now, she’s ready to move on from the child entertainment world. But it’s a huge market, and it made her and her mom a lot of money, as well as gave many little kids a really positive role model. Instead of scrapping everything they worked for, they’re making a girl group to replace JoJo. They will create kids songs, appear on kids tv show, sell tons of merch, and be positive role models for children, while JoJo does adult celebrity things. This show is the final part of their journey to selecting the kids for the group. The show follows the final 11 as they attend dance competitions and do live shows to prove they’re good enough. The idea behind the weekly competition seems to be inspired by dance moms. Cuts are required because 11 is quite large for a girl group, Jess ideally wanted 5, but ended up going with 7.

@@DanceMomsMad thanks for that. I was just watching another clip from the show, and wondering just how much money is spent on costumes and props etc for the group. Possibly because I'm a little jealous, I mean a prop helicopter?! I used to dance at that age, and still remember having to sew sequins onto costumes ourselves and other cost cutting steps for both the dance company and the parents. As long as everyone is having fun, and the girls are still getting an education whilst doing tours etc, then it all works out I guess.

I think my favorite comment in recent memory was from a choreographer reacting to her most recent, award winning Jazz solo: she asks "where did gravity go?" while going on to comment that she must have kevlar or carbon fiber in her core, not just muscle and bone, hah-hah. It's true. This show barely scratches the surface at what a force of nature she has been *for* *years* competing and completely dominating dance competition and conference alike. But she does it with pure joy and grace.
