Six Abandoned Railway Tunnels of the Wye Valley 

We decided to explore the Wye Valley and search for some of its old abandoned railway tunnels. We love to explore these places to see the lost railway architecture that once was. Whether its Viaducts, bridges, tunnels or any railway infrastructure.
In this journey south we look at the following tunnels:
Monmouth Troy Tunnel
Redbrook Tunnel no.1
Redbrook Tunnel No.2
Newland Tunnel
Tintern Tunnel
and Tidenham Tunnel.

Whilst we don't claim to be Urban Explorers with mountains of kit, our goal is as always, to search, document and discover these abandoned tunnels. If we can get in, we certainly will, but our overall goal is to document and tick them off the list.
