Her tendency of quickly falling in and out of love could quite evidently be a product of her traumatic childhood. She was an illegitimate child, never saw her father, was compelled by her mother to act.. it's quite obvious that she was desperately looking for some stability in her life. Also, when a child spends a lonely and loveless childhood. He/she ends up considering any and all forms of affection as love. However, as they say whatever isn't healed within you keeps repeating itself, unless you learn to accept it. Same happened with Rekha, look at the men she had in her life, her father was toxic, all her affairs were with either married or committed men. It's quite obvious that she's still hurting on the inside. May God help her. Such a sad life to lead.

the love and respect I have for Rekha is unquantifiable. the way she has been able to navigate the disappointments that life has thrown at her from a dysfunctional childhood, absent dad, a career that wasn't her dream and a man who didnt choose her. she went through all this in such a dignified way and harbors no hate /resentment to the people who have broken her heart on numerous times. her life story never fails to bring tears to my eyes. all she ever wanted is be loved in the same way she loved others. I would say though, its interesting how Aishwarya looks like a younger version of Rekha. they should pair up in a mother-daughter film.
