When Brit, Sam, and Andrea take their final bow, I am going to cry like a baby 😂. Just so so proud of these queens and it’s the first obc that I’ve felt connected to! Plus the overall story of the show and the execution is flawless! Love love love! 🥹🫶🏻
@@kox1436 its thanks to covid since they werent onstage for like a year (or almost) 🥲i think they would prob quit sooner if it wasnt for covid though, just like the WE 2.0 queens
In the first song of the show, Aragon says that line to the audience (in the UK productions it's "remember us from your GCSEs" which is an exam British people have to take which has a history test). But now they're actually on CBS 😃
@@brandonplays702 basically pbs had a show called the Boleyns, which focused on the life and times of Henry's second wife, Anne, ans they also showed other shows based on the Tudors. This was of course the weekend airings and the after pbs kids block of television
Because of the line 'But never Henry's little prick'. Because of how often, at least in the US, it's used for a dick reference. Or because they just didn't trust anything because it's for the kid-centric Thanksgiving day parade. Also: Love your videos.
I see the Aragon tour cast in only nine days and I can't WAIT. I'm super excited and I've heard fantastic things about the Aragon cast. I'm taking my two friends brand new to Six and it's our first time seeing the show live and in person
The Aragon tour cast is AMAZING! My favorite is Olivia Donalson who plays Anna of Cleves. I'm taking my sister to see Six in Charlotte in July. It's the Boleyn cast. I was kind of disappointed but hopefully they will be good.
Absolutely late to this but I just saw Six on tour and I cried during the show both in happiness and overwhelming emotion. I loved the soundtrack but seeing in person was just breathtaking. I hope you get to see it live if you havent seen it yet!!
Amazing Queens as always, but I can't believe they actually bleeped Henry's little- PRICK UP YOUR EARS, like the bleeping just calls more attention to it, guys.
For real, because of the word play it’s not easy to pick up on it on first listen. And those who are familiar with the show already know what it is lol
It’s so weird that they even censored it considering the type of shows CBS is/has aired.. like they have shows where people literally die or are gruesome yet won’t let a little word thats not even actually there slide by 💀
Its a play on words. Depending on usage prick can mean the exact same thing as dick. They are interchangeable. So Howard when jumps in to supposedly cut off the bad word, she actually completes the line.
Letting the world experience the Broadway Queens one more time before you figuratively behead them by asking them rather than renew their contracts. Sick, twisted, and makes me not want to support any further _Six_ ventures. Thank you for all you have given, Sam, Andrea, Britt, and the present alternates. Sorry you couldn't have worked for somebody appreciative.
I don’t know if we know enough information about the cast change to comment. If you know something extra, please tell but maybe they didn’t want to renew their contracts?
they've been doing this since 2019??? they would have been given the option to renew contracts if they wanted however they probably wanted to do something new
@@kathrynehigham here’s how I understand it: the remaining OBC (Andrea, Britt, Sam, Mallory, Nicole, Courtney, and Keirsten) have known since June that they would be done in December, by producer mandate. The newer members of the cast (Bre, Keri, Brennyn) who are leaving weren’t really given a heads up when they were told about cast change, and that they wouldn’t be given the option to renew, despite not having nearly as long a tenure with the show. The reason the entire principle cast is being changed probably has to do a lot with the fact that this production is a UK transplant in many ways, and in the UK, it’s a lot more common for the whole cast to change at once, as opposed to the individual changes that have been happening at the Broadway production since reopening. It sucks that the current Queens weren’t given the option to renew but I do also understand the logic to a degree - there was a lot of unwarranted hostility to Courtney Bowman and Danielle Steers when they joined the UK cast, and the producers may have thought a unilateral cast change would work better.
@@LaFemmeFictionale hey :) how do you know that the newer cast members weren’t given a heads up about the cast change and didn’t have the option to renew?
@@TheTravellingGeek oh ok. in the us because we have the fcc there are more guidelines on what things can be said, especially for daytime/family shows and since prick is a double entendre it has a sexual connotation to it here so its "too obscene" to the fcc and has to be bleeped
@@kidkrowtaylor Keri played Jane. Andrea played A. Boylen and Joy (I believe.) is C. Parr (This is commented after this cast left. Sorry for the late reply!)
Adrianna hicks (Katherine of Aragon) Abby mueller (Jane seymour) And Anna Uzele / Joy Woods (Catherine parr) left the show so Bre jackson, keri rene fuller, and brennyn lark replaced their role
Wait are they staying this broadway cast !!!! ❤❤❤❤ pls I love this cast (not saying I don’t love the others) this is my fav (make a second broadway cast pls) ❤❤❤❤
