The recommendation for grip size is when you hold the racket your index finger should barely fit between your thumb and the fingers if that makes sense. I think that works well as a guideline and from there you can try marginally smaller or thicker grip. And that can be achieved by wrapping the grip edge to edge or edge over edge. Also stretching the grip tape gives a little more flexibility in terms of size. Might sound self explanatory but it was new to me since a few months ago. Helped me get the exact grip I want. And even the smallest amount like half a millimeter can do a difference.
The quick fix is to have right sized grip. I started to feel some pain in my forearm and elbow. Changed to a little thicker grip and the pain was gone and has never shown since.
Happy to hear that! I mentioned that at the end but i should have moved it to the beginning. Anyway, these exercises are valuable for players regardless of elbow issues.
