New England- what are we getting? Six flags- another boomerang New England- we already have one it's called the flashback Six flags- but its inverted and will hurt like the devil New England- Sounds great the kids will love it!
Well I have been on Goliath at Six Flags New England and I gotta say that Goliath is definitely the biggest boomerang roller coaster that I've ridden in my life.
The big announcement for Six Flags Mexico wasn't announced until the end of the 2012 season, and ended up being Festival Del Terror and Christmas in the Park. As for La Ronde, the big announcement was Vol Ultime.
Six Flags Magic Mountain rules!! I have season Thirll Passes and you just can't never be bored....we have the best rides in the Country and now with 18 rides we we have the most Coasters in the WORLD!! and NOW, Lex Luther....can't wait to get on that Superman backwards going up as we are dropping on Lex is going to be a HECK of a thrill....GO SIX FLAGS MM
that black and orange ride at the end looks like riddler's revenge, thats crazy six flags majic mountain has the best rides. & they bout to get another one. i love it! cali
1: X-Flight: B&M wingrider coaster (this is number 3 of the wingrider coasters from B&M) 2: Bonzai Pipeline (there are a few slides of this type) 3: Lex Luther drop of doom (there is a ride like this in europe) 4: .... 5: Superman Ultimate Flight (a Maurer Shöne coaster) 6: Goliath (Vekoma Boomerang coaster) 7: the water slides (nothing special) 8: shows (why no rides) 9: Sky Screamer (also nothing special) 10: Apocalypse (B&M stand up coaster) al the new coasters & slides looks fun
6 Flags New Jersey!!! Going tomorrow, I go on anything but Kingda Ka. Haha, Green Lantern, Bizarro, and Superman are the bestt. For people that havent been in Nj, you're on your back in Superman
"we're here at six flags great adventure where we take down actual good rides like scream machine and rolling thunder to add shit rides like dark knight and a super looper were we market it as coaster eventhough its a flat ride"
But atleast you guys have a B&M flying, stand-up, floorless, invert and hyper coasters, an Intamin pre-fab coaster and an Intamin Xcelerator coaster. I have a Vekoma Corckscrew, a Vekoma Boomerang, a Vekoma SLC, an Intamin Stand-up, a rough William Cobb woodie, a B&M invert and a B&M hyper that isn't really a real hyper. Plus you guys are getting an S&S freefly coaster next year while we are getting a Larson flying scooter and a Gosetto flat ride.
Cedar Point is in itself the best theme park for coaster quality and quantity in one place. However, both Cedar Point, Magic Mountain, and Great Adventure have it's high points. Cedar Point has TTD without over the shoulders restraints, Maverick, Millennium Force, Wicked Twister, and Gemini. Magic Mountain has Superman: Escape from Krypton, Tatsu, Riddler's Revenge, X2, and Green Lantern. Great Adventure has Kinda Ka (Over the Shoulders, but taller and faster), Nitro, El Toro, and Bizarro.
Actually, I was referring to the themeing and holiday events. Both Magic Mountain and Great Adventure are renowned for setting themes and area effectively. Additionally, their holiday events (especially Fright Fest) are award-winning and highly executed. These two points crush anything Cedar Fair has attempted to do.
Here's what wasn't announced for the 2012 season at Six Flags parks. First, Six Flags St. Louis and Six Flags Over Texas would also be turning Mr. Freeze into Mr. Freeze: Reverse Blast. Six Flags Magic Mountain would also be getting a Funtime Slingshot attraction near where DeJa Vu used to sit. Hurricane Harbor near Six Flags Great Adventure received King Cobra, which was eventually relocated to Hurricane Harbor in Oaxtepec, Mexico for the 2019 season. Speaking of which, the big announcement for Six Flags Mexico wouldn't come until one year later when they announced Festival Del Terror, along with Christmas in the Park which was announced shortly afterwards. Finally, the exciting news for La Ronde would be Vol Ultime, a 148ft star flyer.
For two roller coaster over 400 ft tall, the extra 5 mph and 30 feet doesn't make much of a comparison. In my opinion TTD beats KK solely for using the lap restraints opposed to KK's shoulder restraints, therefore giving you a sense of more "freedom". Cedar point has also had a larger guest attendance than every six flags park. Make sure you do your research before you criticize anothers inability to do so.
Some of these rides are just being moved from other parks. Goliath is the refurbished Deja Vu from Six Flags Great America, as well as Apocalypse which is the old Iron Wolf coaster. All I can say is good riddance to Iron Wolf, someone else can get a headache from it!
@MrLoveGlove Tallest and fastest stand up was the Iron Wolf at Six flags great america, Which is now shipped off to D.C. Riddlers revenge came out way later. Like 97 or 98
@datafreak667 The one at SFGA was always having issues so they removed it. Also I don't think the Goliath at Six Flags over Georgia has any kind of loops or inversions but it is still a fun ride and I think the longest ride in the park.
Ok, my home park is six flags great America, I love it so much it's so much fun, but first iron wolf (apocalypse) then Ragin' Cajun, six flags America keeps steeling great America's rides, like if your going to sell a ride, at least sell it to like six flags over Georgia or something, and keep it in shape, I've been hearing bad things about six flags over Georgia, are u trying to abandon it or what? But really if your going to sell a ride sell a "not so popular" ride and sell it to another six flags park besides Six flags America
Well luckily this year Six Flags Over Georgia in Austell Georgia near Atlanta just recently added a new roller coaster name Twisted Cyclone replacing Georgia Cyclone.
