This is easily my favorite Six Flags waterpark because of bith the slide lineup and the setting along the wooded hillside. I almost enjoyed my day here more than I did at Six Flags Over Georgia the day before.

We were pass holders and regular visitors for the last 5 years. They started closing half of the slides during Covid and I was quite sad to see they never really all reopened. We’re pass holders for Margaritaville this year and their operations are much better and they are always fully staffed if not over staffed. It’s a shame white water can’t get it together bc the closed slides are awesome.

Everything is now open except one of the kid islands, and wahoo racer which needs a fix.

Those slides that were closed are probably closed because they don't have enough employees to cover all the rides. Six Flags announced last week that Hurricane Harbor at the Six Flags park would be operating limited days and hours of the week due to a shortage of workers.

Stopped by white water today, a lot more things were open than the last week. Dive bomber, black river falls, gulf screamer, typhoon twister were all running. Tornado was temporarily closed and maintenence was working on the water. It should be back soon. Carribean plunge/ Bermuda triangle are retired for good, and tidal wave seems to have issues and I wouldn't expect it open anytime soon. Lizards tail has been on and off a lot.

@CoasterRanger oh since that post, lizards tail and tornado are back. Only tidal wave is closed, plus wahoo racer which seems to have problems the last week or so.

@bubbalance1 the tower is so old it couldn't even pass inspection, and it's just worn out. They're gonna replace it. That said, they did open carribean plunge in the last few days since it's not part of the high tower and is fine.

I totally 100% agree with you. I went to this park in 2022, and had an absolutely awful experience. Like you said, the lazy river and half of the rides were closed, and the lines for the opened rides were very long. I was very very disappointed with this water park. I will go out of my way and say that Black River Falls is my favorite water slide from this park, or at least it's the one I enjoyed the most. It's such a shame that I couldn't ride it again cuz by the time I got to the bottom, it was time to go. This park is always infamous to me, but thankfully Margaritaville at Lake Lanier Islands saved the day.
