Six Gibbons are being prepared for release into the wild in Java from Howletts Wild Animal Park 

Six Javan gibbons from Howletts Wild Animal Park are preparing to go wild as part of leading conservation charity, The Aspinall Foundation’s Back To The Wild Initiative. Thanks to ground breaking research carried out by the charity, these captive born gibbons will soon be exploring the protected forests of Java, wild and free just as they should be! Our Animal Director, Adrian Harland and our Head of Veterinary Services, Jane Hopper explain more about this trail blazing project.
