Went to one of the last vulcan flights at an airshow in bournemouth a decade ago. I thought the vulcan was loud, till the typhoon made its appearance. The vulcan set off all car alarms and babies within a square mile radius. The typhoon did the same, only two times the area. That thing was unbelieably loud.

Ma certo, questo era un addestramento al decollo "scramble" e basta, probabilmente sono stati in aria per meno di 15 minuti. Dove fanno pattuglia in Romania e Polonia si alzano "carichi" e stanno in aria un paio d'ore e non in 6 ma in due, anche perché c'è sempre in volo altro materiale AWAC (droni o con piloti) che supervisione tutti i movimenti per 4-500km di raggio nella zona, pertanto se ci fosse una improvvisa presenza ostile massiccia questi due manovrano subito all'intercettazione per capire la situazione mentre altri caccia vanno in scramble e li raggiungono ☺️
