The current principal cast is: Jarneia Richard-Noel (Aragon), Courtney Bowman (Boleyn), Natalie Paris (Seymour), Alexia McIntosh (Cleves), Sophie Isaacs (Howard) and Danielle Steers (Parr), while Collette Guitart, Hana Stewart, Zara MacIntosh and Cherelle Jay are all alternates ☺️

@@ethancelebration That's because a good portion of the music isn't live. Anything other than the main piano line, guitar, bass, and drum kit is prerecorded sound that plays from the soundboard (like the trumpets in No Way and Six, like probably 70% of Haus of Holbein, the beats for AYWD and DLUH which can only be made with synthesizers). That gives them the ability to play around with pacing during spoken parts that have live instrumental backing (start of No Way, IDNYL, Heart of Stone) while also having the capacity to have more complex instrumental textures than a 4-woman band is capable of during the main numbers.

@@NewMoonStarlight And you can even hear the band mess up sometimes in Megasix. Sometimes Joan is on the wrong key, Bessie messed up her solo in the first Megasix Sing-Along. These aren't bad, it just shows that band, well, is actually a band.

Exactly! Joan is on a key board which is of course going to cut out, Maggie and Bessie have electric guitars and Maria isn’t just going to carry on

Els life I know 🥺 it’s bittersweet as we all adore Grace, Courtney and Vicki but they’ve all gone on to do amazing things since then & the new girls are just amazing!

technically collette is part of the 2018/2019 cast plus shaka is still in six, just on tour

CJ M Yeah! CJ’s costume is a little different from Vicki’s OG alternate costume (more detailing on the shorts) but generally Six seem to stick to the same colour scheme for the alt pairs :)

The same with Hana (Seymour and Parr) and Zara has the same as Grace (Aragon and Howard) but a different costume

and now she’s katherine howard on the UK tour

Sophie None of them could come back & only Grace ever did that for the big cast change back in October. Courtney Stapleton was in Budapest, but I suspect she would’ve if she could.

West End Wonder Yeah, I saw the news this morning! She was incredible in Heathers & I can’t wait for her to start as Howard, just worried about the cover system in the time between now & Sophie starting!

Imagine having a recording on Vicki’s last show with a power cut in it. Knowing me I’d accidentally delete it and go “oops”

@@Dekeullan Yes, and the instruments like the keyboard and the bass and guitar are most likely electrical. Things like trumpet noises or things that generally aren't usually played by the instruments of the ladies in waiting are recorded, meanwhile the band is real. But most of the instruments are electrical. Although this would've been a PERFECT time for Maria to go _off_

A Lucas the play out isn’t supposed to a backing track as Seymour says hit it and all the times I’ve been to see six I checked they all start playing when they’re supposed to. Maybe all of this time it’s been a lie 😂

Leo Godfrey a lot of shows will have a backup track in case things like this happen. Some crews will play it on mute through the show so that it can come in when needed. every show and tech crew is different, though:)

Cookie Cat Yes! Where Aimie left with about three weeks between the announcement of her departure & cast change, Vicki stepped forward and became principal Howard for two months until December 15, where she left. (She did come back for two shows on December 21st, however!)

just after hana tells the band to hit it, the power blows - it was a local powercut in the area at the time but thankfully it was a sunday so not a ton of shows were affected, but some were hit by it

Trust me, a lot of people have realised this. It’s a pre-recorded playout track and I have no qualms with this because the band play the music continually throughout the entire show.

kingikiller Cherelle had to go off in AYWD and seemed pretty drained. She’s not had a show off at all this week & neither’s Hana.

BBBigEdits it’s not fake. When the sound stopped, it cut the amplifiers on the instruments, which are all electric. No one would hear them.

Letícia Valentim watch closely when the sound cuts back on, they aren’t playing any of the instruments

They’re not fake. The playout music is just a backing track, I believe, which they have in more than one point of the show, but the band play their instruments a hell of a lot. The start of the megasix shows you that.

BBBigEdits they almost certainly tried to switch over to a track when the power cut, because some of the lights stayed on and they would’ve wanted as much continuity as possible. With stuff like that, you never know exactly what’s affected, and I’m sure their stage manager started cueing all sorts of stuff to see what would work and what wouldn’t

I think all of the instruments are pluged into a speaker and the power cut made the speaker turn off so you could not hear them
