A look at the Six Million Dollar Man's Mission Control Center and Re-Release Command Console Produced By Kenner Toys from 1976 - 1978. This Playset was Large Due to the Fact of a 12 Inch Scale of the Steve Austin Figure. Lots of Accessories and Fragile Components make it Hard to Find Complete.

I had this play set once upon a time, and thankfully I now have another one with the box and the instructions. It looks really nice on display with Steve Austin sitting at the console and Oscar Goldman handing him a "top secret" file.

I had this as a kid and really enjoyed it. You're right. The inflatable dome really did more to get in the way than anything. I eventually located a mint version of the Mission Control Center (still in the box) and blew up the dome just once to reminisce. It's a fun piece to have and gave me hours of play time as a kid. Although I have to say I had Oscar in the chair while Steve did the heavy lifting.

Indeed Oscar took it easy while Steve risked his hide. But I guess when a guy spends six million on you it is hard to complain.

Yet again a perfect example of why the toys of our youth were so incredible. This is an awesome set. You have a great collection man!

Thank you Count. Toy makers really tried to put out great product back then. Competition leads to good things for the consumer. Only two toy companies, not so much.

The compass and binoculars came from Steve Scout I believe. I had them. But compass was in yellow.

Why would Steve Austin need binoculars? He's got a bionic eye! I guess it was meant for Oscar Goldman.
