I was there, it was awesome. Beautiful people, colourful and friendly. I saw the grass dance competition and the hoop dance. If you ever have a chance to go to a Pow Wow, don't hesitate.
I am a Filipino and I could say that I have high respect and appreciation for these people because they held on and persevered with their unique culture and system. The Philippines is also a home of many ethnic groups and each indigenous group of people observe different traditions and cultures. I can see that their regalia or costumes are similar to the Bago-Igorot Tribe in the Philippines and they almost sing the same song. These people always live in harmony with nature, spirituality, and strong family ties like Filipinos.
