Four years of nonstop heavy drinking. Hospital visit because I was near death, or so they tell me. Family is losing faith in me. I just sarcastically thought to myself “wonderful. Everything is great, life is beautiful.” Remembered this song after years. So here I am, hoping I’ll get energized and think of a reason to continue. I've been listening the Crue since their 1st album, i'm now 60 and finally finished reading The Heroin Diares, there is absolutely know question that thse brilliant lyrics were written by Nikki. I first heard this song a couple months ago, and just about a week ago i started streaming daily, just yesterday i found out a classmate i had throughout all of middle school and highschool passed away, a very good person, student, and classmate. They were such a happy and motivated person. watching my husband struggle with his alcoholism, right up to the point of his death because of his drinking, complicating his illness....it makes one realize the addict lives ONLY for themselves and the next high, the next satisfaction of their own needs and to hell with all who watch them slowly kill themselves. I mourn his passing because he was a great guy, his cravings were what killed him. So sad...rest in peace, Robbie...and to those who are struggling, hit bottom, then come up for air and STAY UP! In the Mid 90's, I saw Staind with Korn in Fargo N.D.. It was amazing then. It's still amazing now. Thanks for all the memories, and thanks for all since then. Keep jamming 🎸

2021, going on 2022, this was a childhood song for me, I'm 21. Idk why, but I think when I first heard this, I manifested this in my life. I've had my fair share of struggles for a guy like me, yet I'm still kicking with an odd mix of a pestimistic and optimistic out look on life. Life is Beautiful.
