All reports I read in this matter point to Siya who have failed to manage the fame and manage himself . Being a sportsman's star attracted lot of people to him some without good intentions. Marriage is a very delicate and sensitive matter, there are certain red lines u do not need to cross to save your marriage. Bad association, over drinking, attending wild parties and immorality not respecting the sanctity of your marriage is a death nail to any marriage. It now become clear the poor wife Rachel had a lot to suffer in silence not coming out in public in time bcoz of shielding her marriage and possibly hoping that Siya will stop his way Ward trends and reform himself before much damage can take place . Alas it was not to be so ! It took long for her to come to a decision that up to here no more and decided to call it a quit when she saw there was no hope of rescuing the situation. Siya from what I can read in between lines was reckless and never respected the sanctity of his marriage he was carried away by fame and stardom. The price u pay when u cross that red line in marriage life u lose everything u had build up for a very long time. He will be a divorcee be side lined as a Springbok Rugby team Captain bcoz he is not setting a good example of being well mannered and irreprehensible. He will lose all the high status he earned and be dusgraced, bcoz of being reckless and not considering consequences of his actions. I have been marriage counsellor for many years having married myself for 50 years, I know we'll what I am saying. Their marriage is irrecoverably destroyed and no point of healing at this stage unless major reconstruction can be done by both of them. They need to be in seclusion away from many distractions heal their marriage and make necessary sacrifice to regain their marriage. Siya need to be serious and own up to his weakness and deficiencies in collapsing their marriage. Siya need to manage himself well refrain from bad association, bad practices , attending wild parties with glamour girls completely stop drinking self discipline himself, stop being a play boy bcoz that and being a married man does not go hand to hand. No woman must be forced to tolerate such immorality and bad behaviour. That is asking too much from Rachel. To save herself from daily stress she deserves to be given space to decide what to do with her own life. Siya need to go to rehabilitation of himself, he need to stop his rugby game play and concentrate to rebuilding himself up morally away from fame and bad association and side tracts. He need to pay a heavy price to regain himself. No amount of money could save himself from this mess he brought upon himself. It appears his upbringing was weak did not set a good model to himself. He entered marriage without learning about virtues of marriage. Even if he may divorce now and remarry will never come right bcoz his foundation is so weak. First point of call is to reconstitute himself, being on control of himself not be controlled by other people or circumstances and follow fame. I wish I cud find time on a one and one face to face meeting with him advise how best to manage his situation at no cost to him. His condition is too fluid now out of control. It need major overhaul. I feel very sorry for him but withouth sugar coating his situation he messed himself up. He need to save himself with the assistance of others who are knowledgeable about marriage life.
He had to write the book to explain himself because the marriage was already gone. I understand where hes coming from. Black people cant handle money because we didn't grow up in it. Lets speak fact and stop fantasies
As much as I loved and admired this couple,I'm also on team Rachel.This lady sacrificed a lot ,taking in and raising Siyas siblings and one could see that she loved them. As for Siya if the allegations are true I am disappointed and hurt because he destroyed his family. I'm more worried about the kids😢😢

On the mature side, men mature slower than women. His problem was marrying too young, before he could exhaust youthful tendencies women, alcohol, partying, flirting, it came easy for him to fall into those traps. And also that fame added, with travel and being away from hi is wife when sexual urge would defeat his will not to cheat.
