Dear Carrie, thank you so much for finally being the one RU-vidr I can actually relate to. I’m Addie, I’m 15 years old and I am from Minnesota. I am in this “mid size” struggle with you and many other girls. At American Eagle I wear a size 14-16 based on how loose I want my shorts and jeans to be, as well as a large or an XL top if i want a more oversized look. I am also pretty tall, I’m 5’8. I struggle everyday with finding clothes that I don’t feel bad about what size I am. I’m not the “stereotypical” body type for these sizes. I don’t look plus size but I also don’t look like the “normal skinny” sized models for my age. It is a constant struggle that I have learned to over come and just do me. I go shopping with my friends and I can’t fit into a lot of the stores they can and I feel very left out with the size variations at common stores. For example me and my friends went to pac sun and almost EVERYTHING was “one size” or a small or medium, and the large sizes didn’t even fit me!! The new expectations for “healthy” body types are ridiculous. I eat healthy and work out many times a week and my body doesn’t look like the girls who eat crap and don’t exercise and are still very skinny... it kinda sucks. Everyone says it’s “genetics” and that may be true but the expectations are horrible and need to be broken to be honest. You inspire me to just be myself and rock my body type with super cute outfits that are totally me. I am now filled with confidence and give no fucks about what people think about me. My friends are jealous of my confidence and wish they could have as much as me. So thank you again. I love you so much and you have impacted my whole life so much. I can’t thank you enough for this blessing. Because of you I want to start a fashion line with clothes that go from a XXS to a 4X for tops, as well as bottoms that go from a 00 to a 20 with regular, short, and tall choices. Everyone is different and we should celebrate that. I want the line to be trendy, youthful, girly, edgy, boho, preppy... literally everyone’s style in one. A universal store that everyone can shop at, no matter what race, size, height, religion, anything. Clothing for all. Love, Addie Dexter

Around 7:00, I too have recently eliminated my high heels. I don't walk gracefully in them, they're uncomfortable for me, and most of the time they only correspond to one specific outfit in my closet. Versatile flats it is!

I want the perfect high waisted style! Also I am just like you with the chafing! But I swear, put on deodorant between that thigh goodness! 😂 It has to be the white kind, NOT gel. That only makes it worse. It honestly has changed my life! I could not go without shorts either until I tried that. And those “basket” cups are adorable!

Love these goodwill videos! Not sure if you ever go out to Tempe but there's a lot of nice goodwills out there! Btw for that skirt, vintage sizing runs about 2 sizes smaller. So if the skirt is a size 15 it's actually closer to a size 12/13 in modern sizing :)

We have color rotator at our Goodwills in Colorado Springs. First week, anything with a red tag is 25% off, green is 50% off and yellow is 75% off. The next week, red is 50% off, green 75% off, etc.. If you're patient, and keep an eye out, you can get brand name designerwear, brand new appliances, etc. for 1-2 dollars by the time it gets to 75% off.

They have fabric spray paint for leather & vinyl, so you could change the color of the belt... or you could apply nail polish remover to a soft bristled brush and scrub the entire length of the belt until all the dye has been removed. Rinse the belt with cool water and let dry. Apply shoe leather dye, your color choice, to the belt.

You should try the Goodwill "bins" which is also called their outlet or the Bargain Barn here in FL. Clothing is sold by the pound!

That rattan square thing is a trivet! My mom has 2 exactly the same. The little metal ring is so you can hang it by the stove so it doesn't take up counter space :).

Hey girl. If you search for anti-chafing gel in amazon, there’s a few options so you don’t have to wear another layer of clothing. No one enjoys chub rub! Also, the anti chafing gel is the EXACT same thing as primer for your face, so it’s a less expensive option to buying primer. Xx

Hey! I have chaffing-prone thighs too. But don’t let that stop you from wearing shorts.. monistat sells chaffing gel (I get it at target) which is basically a silicone gel that reduces the friction and treats that irritated area. It’s absolutely wonderful. Especially in the Arizona heat but also in the humid heat of Florida.
