Almost as if those SUV haters don't compare dimensions to other cars. They're taller than other cars, but, not necessarily bigger width or length. I mean, it would be churlish to point out a Santa Fe is 4785 l x 1900 w and a Model Y is 4750 l x 1978 w. Hmm. And here they are, complaining about SUV width. Apart from their dislike of SUVs and caravans, I like this channel!
Went to a Kia launch event for the EV9. It was parked close to an EV6. I want both. Why would I want the EV9? I want to tow a 1.9 tonne caravan. That reduces to choice to about 3 EVs. I want a car that can carry 5 people, two dogs, 4 bikes and tow. At the same time. Electric vans are useless, no comfort in a Transit. So, the EV9 suits me perfectly. School run, round town, shopping. EV9? No, it would stay on the drive, hopefully getting a Niro soon, to replace a Zoe, and that will do the short runs. Will I get an EV9? No, can't afford it, unfortunately. Oh, and charging an EV when towing is impossible.
