This video is containing subjective things. Light doesn't get weaker when it comes a long way, it's charge is constant. The video is naming a lot of things as reasons, but is very bad at explaining them. I think you should've concentrated on how field of view works more and how cameras work by the same principle to our pupils to give an example of how a cone of light before us gets projected onto the eye's receptors, making distant things take less space than close ones.
