@@Ordep1313 it’s purchasable just click in back and there’s a price range from $70 bucks to $110 depending on colors I believe not sure what the differences are as there isn’t too much description but uh yeah those are the price ranges you can get one rn I believe. But again as far as I can see difference is color and in limited quantities.
It’s just an enclosure with monitoring for $100. You can get 2TB portable SSDs from name brands for less than that, and just use tools on the PC to monitor its health and performance when you need to.
its literally an m.2 covered with a screen... did you expect it to be 20 dollars? the m.2 itself is probably 50 cool casing 20 cool screen with custom ui 30 its not even that bad
@@RektDem bro the m.2 is sold separately.... its not a "portable m.2" it's literally just the case. Are you saying the enclosure is different because it houses mini m.2s? You can literally get cases that work with all m.2 sizes and literally a quarter the price. A mini screen I can get from the pc dosen't justify am extra $60 for such a niche product.
Win 10&11 have that feature within Windows that you dont loose/corrupt files while janking it out of the system as long you are not doing it while transfering data.
Well the enclosure is kind of cool but its literally a $17 128gb drive, and windows already has the built in functionality of not losing your files if you pull your drive out. (at least windows 10 and above)
was like cool its only $89 on amazon.. then i realized you have to buy the m.2 ssd separately so add another $200 for 2TB. seems useful tbh, just not in the price range that comfortable.

Can i be salesman of this? What job will need this alot? Can it run like in between external harddisk to see those numbers? Can it be like that a usb-harddisk-harddisk, to read at 2nd harddisk when in between is disk(thumbdrive). What happen if play at Vape Device have such thing? Or vape device to have this even? Just having ideas of "AntiVirus Vaping Device" then if can see statistic of battery, then Hybrid of Thumbdrive like Nice.
Lets just give this a few years to see if anything happens but this does look cool and it appears to be using some sort of capacitor for the protection system
so i dont really understand what makes this different from a nvme in a USB-c enclosure. this devce would actually be alittle slower than a normal nvme in a case because those small ff nvme's dont have dram, so they max out around 1/5th the speed of a normal nvme, as far as hot plugging and not losing data, unless your on win 7 or older, thats not really an issue, if your reading the drive, you have nothing to worry about, as long as your not literally running software off it, the worst that will happen is you will have a corrupted file on the drive if you unplug it during transferring TO the drive, in which caase just plug it in, delete corrupted file, and re-copy file. unplugging while copying data from drive to pc would mean a corrupted file on the pc side but not the drive side. again only time you can get corruption is if there is a program actively editing files on the drive and they arent backed up, or you are running programs that are installed on the external drive instead of your computer. so if your a video editor, best thing to do is to copy it to the local drive for editing..... or use a editing server where the files reside on the server they are edited on...
Too bad, it misses ISO mounting like IODD products. You can select an ISO and UEFI/BIOS/OS see it like a disc in an external tray and boot :) (and ofc use it also as an read only SSD in my office) In my case it strongly only miss the iso support to buy one.
@@samnordine2320 it's still $100 "enclosure"....kinda a waste considering I don't know anyone that has m.2s that small just laying around...cool but I feel like it be better for larger drives that people actually have to spare especially now with the market being flooded
Nothing you said even makes me curious about this. You can literally plug a USB drive up to 2TB into your phone now. If it had biometric protection, sure. A screen? Why?
For $99, it's not an upgrade from what I have. Maybe more of a gimmick? Plus, is the advertised 10Gbps a real world benchmark? Or just another rubbish synthetic benchmark? Maybe if it was closer to 50 usd or maybe had double the potential transfer speed (but that depends on cable and usb version), i'd back it up and pre-order one. Otherwise, meh.
