About linear phase, if you put an eq at the bottom of the chain, it does the same thing, it wont change the sound of your kick, just cut or boost frequencies
Hey great tutorial. Many thanks that you help us. A question about the ohmicide. You use a noisegate to reduce the noise. I mean there is a noisegate in there. I think I read it in the manuals.
great video ,you said leave comment , im looking for the full foundation of a track , not necessary the way to make the sounds, step process ,all the elements of a track and the structure of the track. if possible i know its a hard vid to make but i know it can help me and many others. keep up the good work ,up tempo king .
Thanks for your good tutorial it's very helpful! Your kicks are really strong and powerfull. Talking about that, I'd like to know if you can reveal quickly in tutorial your kicks layering technics ? I work a lot on these, and i'm satisfied with the kick itself but they seem to be "weak"! Can you make a tutorial on transient, extra bass and other stuff to bring kicks to an other level ?
layering come more in mainstream style for kind of terror or uptempo kicks you don't realy need it can be good of course but sound can be a way more louder and cleaner with a single layering
Depends on what you want. I layer a lot to get the kick to sound warm and punchy. When i "finish" a kick i almost every time layer a extra sub layer and punches/toks. But indeed a lot of uptempo producer especially nowadays use 1 layer. And its not bad you can get a nice result but it wil not sound as warm and punchy as a layered kick :)
@SJAMMINATOR Do you still put a 0db clipper at the end of the chain? Just like 3:12 cause I notice when I move the volume fader the distortion sound will change. Or is this normal?
@@Sjammienators so you put izotope trash clip control on the kick channel chain? Not the master chain right? Is this the only way to avoid changing the sound when changing volume? What other ways is there?
@@sendlocation8476 yes as LAST of the channel. NOT on the master. Yes you can do it with other plugins as long as it is a Clipper or a distortions type.
The perfeckt g key kick,... Edison > Run > Genertion > sine Generator > freq 50hz or wat you need. Phase 0,5 and run that shit, put as an audioclip into your playlist, and turn the pogo knob in your sampler to the left site. And feel the punch. P.s. saw and pulsgenarator are in the Edison too. Ik heb een vraag: als ik de GTune op een kanaal en een kick loope zet, moet dit me de Key laten zien, maar de GTuner springt dan altijd tussen A, C en G .. Welke Key heeft de kick omdat nu? Moije groetjes uit Duitsland
Supernice tutorialtje even! 1 vraag, als je klaar bent, sample je je kicks dan en save je ze gewoon als wav en gebruik je ze dan in een project? of laat je alles zo staan zodat je met edit events nog gekke shit kan doen terwijl alles blijft lopen? Ik zit met het probleem dat soms alles wat teveel word en aangezien NI massive enzo nogal wat cpu neemt dat ik het makkelijker vindt om alles te samplen, maar geen idee of dat de beste optie is haha. Dikke thnx voor dit in ieders geval.
Ik sample hem meestal en start ik een nieuw project zo is je cpu weer op 0 :) Bewaar wel je kick project dan kun je altijd nog daarop terug vallen. en gekke edits doe ik weer met andere plugins op de channel van me kick.
@@pepijngosse7836 Ok, my bad. I recommend the Jomox Mbase11, it's an analogue 909-Kick-clone, just with more options and can even sound heavier with much more decay if you want.
Goeie video man, hoop van geleerd! Misschien een idee om t in het Nederlands te doen zodat je iets meer en beter kan uitleggen? Dan kun je altijd nog ondertiteling toevoegen en zorgen dat je t in het Engels juist overbrengt.
Ik vind dat in veel uptempo hardcore tracks tegenwoordig de kick een veel te hoog geluidje er overheen krijgt. Doet me dan snel denken aan een pingpong balletje. Valt hier wel mee maar andere bouwen soms tracks dan lijkt het net alsof je naar een Tetris spelletje luistert.

Ik weet niet of je voor de video alles op 1 scherm hebt of al een dubbel scherm hebt, zo niet is een 2e scherm echt een aanrader, kan je je mixer en een hoop extra's op kwijt
