Absolutely the best vehicle maintenance video I have seen on RU-vid. No talking about your car or what is happening in your life. Great up close shots. Step by step without unneeded added garbage. You are awesome!

This job is an absolute nightmare if you're in a colder climate and every suspension component is totally rusted. Still find it interesting that you removed the end link nut this easily without a hex or torx key. Usually it'll just spin the bolt with it. At least the front suspension on the Celica is way, way easier regardless of how rusted the bolts are.
@Weebwhacker
@Weebwhacker 3 года назад
Im just done this now in january where the cold is picking much stronger. I had to cut off both links cause the inside hex stripped, bought links with a hex infront of the link boot. So if I need to remove it in the future all I need is a ratchet and wrench, no more hex that shits a nightmare

Nice job man! I know the tears are always a pain lol. You should of got some KYB AGX struts, so they could matched your Eibach Springs. Overall great job though! Keep it up👍👍👍

Hi just wondering are they vogtland lowering springs and if so how do you find them like is the ride extremely stiff or not much difference from stock
@kyleedward8419
@kyleedward8419 2 года назад
why do most of these videos never show the part of taking off the springs, is it a liability thing cause thats the most dangerous part?
@timothyhanson2864
@timothyhanson2864 2 года назад
What size are the larger bolts are in the back? 19mm like the front? I assume the three in the car are 12mm like the front as well?

what was that tool you were using to take off the bolts and where can i get one? also what if we dont have a spring compressor? do they sell preassembled shocks and struts for the celica?
@dorifutodorima
@dorifutodorima 5 лет назад
The tool is an impact wrench. Most auto stores can rent you one or you can take the assembly to a shop and pay a small fee for them to do it. They probably have do, just don't know any off hand.
