SJSU Campus Tour | San Jose State University | USA 

I grew-up in downtown San Jose in the 80's ans 90's. I used to ride my bike through the SJSU campus before I knew what it was. I figured it was some kind of school for old people. I later attended SJSU and graduated in 2011. So, this school is very special to me.

I remember watching this video 2 years back while I was starting my application for Fall 2020 and thinking this university as my dream admit as it was near the silicon valley. I randomly came across this video today and damn it gave me memories of application man and how much stressed I was for perfect application lol. Currently I am studying at SJSU definitely its was worth all the hassle. Its really the best university I got have gotten into.

Proud SJSU alumni here. The Olympics statue is Tommie Smith & John Carlos. In the 1968 Olympics in Mexico City they raised their fists as a silent protest for civil rights. Also, the Cesar Chavez Monument features Gandhi because Gandhi was a great inspiration to Cesar Chavez who was an activist fighting for farm workers rights. Chavez very much believed in non-violent protest. Thanks for the video!!

The bell is very important......is not just a bell. Before UCLA was UCLA it was the southern California branch of San Jose State Normal School (SJSU). The bell was made to commemorate that once Los Angeles State Normal School changed to the UC system and became UCLA.

Amazing! I wish I had attended SJSU when I was young. 😖 It appeared in Forbes' ranking of the top 20 "Colleges that will make you rich," in the 14th position. It has the second-highest Average Graduate Salary/Total cost ratio, only behind the United States Military Academy. But USMA is not for the average person. I know one problem is that the housing price of San Jose is very high.

I like this college, but their website is a big disappointment. When they cannot even manage to make a proper website, it raises questions about their seriousness towards education. I hope someone from SJSU sees this comment. Come on man, even NGOs with 10 members will have a better website than SJSU. Indian students in high school can design a better website- such terrible it is.

I guess library is public library as well. When I lived and worked in San Jose I used to visit the library on weekends. We made our library cards and used to borrow Indian movies DVDs. It was in 2006 to 2009.
