I miss this era so much. When the game felt pure and clean, before gambling and shiny skins took over, before the pro community became rife with cheating suspicions, before the game became super infested with cheaters.. Those were the greatest days of cs.
The game was already massively infested with cheaters and there were many of them caught already. The truth is probably just that you were more ignorant to these things than you are now because news spreads instantly now.
@@stabmasterarson869 Completely right. f0rest and Neo are quite far ahead of anyone who has played the game. IMO f0rest is he greatest by raw skill (by quite a bit) but Neo is close because of achievments and consistency. SpawN has always been overrated like so many other players because of their oldschool status - elemeNt, vesslan, XeqtR etc..
@@jensclarberg6419 SpawN changed the game though. His unpredictable style forced the community to evolve to account for that style. His was game form was so unorthodox

@@squick1842 Lunatic Hai were knocked down to the lower bracket, made it through the lower brackets to the grand finals, meaning that SK (because of winners bracket) only needed 1 map win in the final whilst Lunatic Hai would've needed two.
