7:54 “oh, The weight of it!” - cmon man. That’s got to be one of the best few seconds of North American black metal. The delivery. The crescendo. I still come back to Ast after so many years
I love the internet. I read the part of A Feast For Crows where they explain the history of the Skagosi and I thought "I wonder if there's a band named after that" and here I am.
one of my favorite Skagos songs and i love that book! have you read Woman and Nature by Susan Griffin or Coming Home to the Pleistocene by Paul Shepard? i love those books as well. changed my life, really.
@Dimdez Someone was going to, but they never got the money. I don't think anyone from Cascadian Black Metal bands wanted anything to do with the documentary anyway.
Sadly it's sold out right now, but on their bigcartel they said their is gonna be a repress after Anarchic is out. And since Anarchic is already out, hopefully it will be fairly soon.
ageofruin13 I tried to hear what they play in acoustic part of this song and got something like Em D C Hm C Em D and so on. I might be wrong, but it's sounds good for me.
Is there any music that sound like skagos without the black metal influence? Don't get me wrong, I love this band and buy their stuff, but I wanna know if there's anothing with the softer side of skagos. Perhaps some sort of folk?
