We used to live in Alaska, but the closest we got to Skagway was Whitehorse driving back to the lower 48. I wish we had taken a Detour and visited Skagway. Thanks for the video!

There are 3 bathroom stops on this tour, they are pit toilets, but it’s a bathroom

This sailing was at the end of June carrying over into July. We had excellent weather and wore t-shirts and shorts most of our trip but others are probably not as lucky. Prepare for cold and rainy and maybe you'll get warm and sunny.

Money aside which is better the train or this excursion?

I think most people choose the train, however it is a fair bit more expensive. This excursion does however allow you to get out of the bus and check out the view points along the way.
