Last September (2019) we went on a group trip to Alaska and Victoria, British Columbia via the 'Ovation of the Seas' Cruise ship. We had this trip planned for a year, so you can imagine our excitement! Well, needless to say, it did not disappoint! Cruises are a great, fun way to travel with a group and visit multiple places in one trip.
Our second stop was Skagway Alaska. We took a six hour train ride all the way to the Canadian border and back, learned about the Klondike Gold Rush and how the railroad was built, toured a historic brothel/saloon and ate some delicious, grilled Alaskan food! Alaska was absolutely beautiful and we CANNOT wait to head back in our van, once it's done, to explore even further!
