Day 4 of our Island Princess Alaska cruise was spent in the port town of Skagway. We took the 2.5 hour White Pass Railroad excursion and it is a must-do when in Skagway!
We had 7 hours to enjoy the town when we got back so we did the 4-mile round trip hike to the Gold Rush Cemetery and Lower Reid Falls. It is located just outside of town and is a great way to burn off some cruise calories.
The sail-away from Skagway has some of the best views you will have on your entire cruise, so make sure you are on your balcony for it!
