Stanisław Wenglorz was actually in Budka Suflera, between 1977 and 1978(there are five or so pieces with him). His tenure in Skaldowie was also rather short, and he was brought to the band more or less only for this song, as neither of Zieliński brothers was able to pull it off vocally(though Jacek would occassionally sing it live later). Since mid-80s, he has been living in Germany.
Thank you MyrnaG for reacting to our old, but incredible songs and artists... I can tell You are appraciating our vocalists and our music composers :D It is funny because all the world can recognise The beatles, The rolling stones, The Metallica, The Dire Straits, and In Poland we have multiple bands that are on the same level, if not better :P In terms of build up, in terms of melody our hits doesn't really differ from the british hits from the same timespan :P I mean, in terms of publicity you would have to be a meloman to even know there was something like that in the outskirts of worldwide pop music :P None the less We are competitors, and a few around the world knows it :P :D :) Peace from Poland! :D
I don't see you in my dreams Where did you go on that day, I do not know In a crazy cloud, people flowing The day begins, the day without you A great cloud of people darkens In the streets suddenly brightened And I don't know where my place is And I don't know which way I'll go Shop window's, the names of shops are screaming In the streets suddenly brightened It's so easy to miss each other a rush And I don't know which way I'll go Perhaps you are that girl And yesterday I was at your place again People are flowing in a crazy cloud And where I will go, I don't know yet Perhaps I'm coming back down this street Perhaps I am so aimlessly walking And I don't know which way I'll go And where I will go, I don't know yet I don't see you in my dreams Where did you go on that day, I do not know People are flowing in a crazy cloud The day begins, the day without you Lyrics: Leszek Moczulski Music: Andrzej Zieliński Year of issue: 1979 Original performance: Skaldowie i Stanisław Wenglorz. I don't see you in my dreams Where you went that day, I don't know People drift like a wild cloud The day begins, a day without you The great cloud of people darkens In streets suddenly brightened And I don't know where my place is And I don't know which way to go
