The damn hand plant never works ever. I find if you go at it with some speed and at a 45 degree angle and hand plant and press B late it will work.

I've been trying for an hour or two and I cannot get to Pluto. I did it once and then bailed on accident. I'm so pissed.

ok, how about Kill It On Hardcore difficult? I did it 20 min ago, but grind on Pluto. On hardcore diff you really can't air , impossible, only grind.
