I love the parkour aspect , makes the game feel more immersive , you can get on rooftops and build a daewon type spot or find crazy gaps and unique spots
I hope we get the board swap tricks Daewon does, like the one where Chris Haslam jumps over him on the ramp, he jumps under on to Chris’s deck and they swap. I would love to hippie jump a rail to a staged board and go.
@@Theodiorr go look up Daewon song “Round III” and you will see what I mean , homie would find some crazy rooftop spots and put ramps or picnic tables over them and just sesh them with wild tricks as if it was a small ledge
This is one of the biggest exciting parts of the game I want- the parkour is so fun and it’ll make the game have a lot more than Jsut skating and bouncing off a wall after a jump-

@@slayparty this isn't a matter of the game being in it's early stages. The framework is terrible. The parkour, flipping, and physics just look terrible. They had 3 gens of skates (all of which look far better in every aspect) to work with and it appears they decided to build it from the ground up with a terrible new engine. This game will be absolutely lifeless on release as the devs are clearly expecting it's playerbase to create 'the fun' rather than the other way around. Fuck free to play.
Idk why people are sick of parkour in this game already. It’s such a good tool for getting to places to do skate tricks. And on top of that you can incorporate it into your skating. I think it’s brilliant.
This game is gonna be legendary. No matter what. I'm an Og player and I'm blessed. I understand the bigger picture and I'm ready to give countless hours to this game as an adult responsible person.
they need to add a way to run straight up the wall instead of at an angle, I also saw flips in the trailer they looked cleaner than that. Unfortunately being a parkour/freerunner these flips need to tuck more and have a roll out from high distances.
I love how fucking wonky the flips look ubisoft obviously knows how to do seamless parkour games and skating games so honestly for a beta of beta of betas, like new born baby beta, this looks really cool
It makes sense having parkour in it. Mainly in the 90s, and even today, you'd see plenty of skaters climbing over walls and fences to skate a bowl, a school or even an abandoned spot or skatepark
They should focus on the skating part of the game more than the parkour. It’s a sick feature but I hope they don’t spend too much time on it because the game is SKATE, not PARKOUR
I feel like I am the only one who finds the flipping shit lame. Why does that have to be added it feels so cringe. What does that have to do with skateboard, what does doing hella flips add to the game
