I'm so happy you are finally at 150k, ive been subscribed since 20-30k ( somewhere around there). And I love your videos so much man. You are the reason I picked up skating thanks for being an inspiration.
Yo George just wanted to say that I really appreciate all the work you put into your videos, and the advice and life lessons you give are a sick as well! I’m almost 19, and last year I was starting to get super bummed about getting older and having less time to spend skating/ outgrowing it. But your videos have really put everything into prospective, and now I’m more committed to skating than ever! Your videos really inspire me to try new things, and also inspired me to get a helmet😂 anyways, thank you and I hope you have a good one! Cheers🤘🏼
Man you're 19, you're still young as fuck dude. Embrace these years because I'll tell you this 30 years old comes quick, your 20s will fly by without you noticing. Shit I get a good sesh in and I'm sore for days lol. Dude you're fine right now, dont sweat it you got plenty of time to worry about ageing lol
Awesome. You're an inspiration to those kids and on so many levels. I wish we had skate camps, and more importantly, skate instructors/counsellors like you and your homies, here in the UK. I would pay whatever the going rate is, to give my 9 year old the whole 'Woodward' experience. GREAT video George thanks.
😂😂😂😂 cabins be wild Yo what’s up follow me little homie at Charlie trap 😂😂😂😂😂 Dude put that darkslide down, and the kid doing Christ airs damn man this was so good!
George looks and sounds like I think the American Pie dad would have looked like in his younger years....thats a complement by the way...the guy is a legend.
I know this video is old... when I was at Woodward as an 11 year old my family sent me a care package with 400 glow sticks. My friends and I cracked them all and stuck them in our instructors (Bailey’s) bed. He got in bed and began to shuffle his feet around. The reaction on his face after he lifted the covers was priceless.
I was there summer of 1990. Cafeteria and cabins seem pretty much the same now as they were then. Everything skate related is completely different though.
They taking advantage of the counselors. Not only paying minimum wage, which is terrible and needs to be raised anyway, but also taking board and food out of the pay. They know ppl wanna come skate there and take full advantage of it. It's not a unskilled job either. The skill required to be an instructor should play a factor in pay. They pay more at McDonald's.
